The work was outstanding, and based on other estimates, very reasonably priced. Most importantly to me, he restored it in a way that will obviously last for years. Unlike other solutions that were suggested by others, he repoured the entire footing and set the doors back to their original position. One of the metal doors had separated from it's hinge but I hadn't thought to ask about this, as I figured that this was not something a mason could fix. Without my asking Mr. Umberto took the cellar door to be welded, for a very reasonable cost. He obviously takes pride in the quality of his work, and the finished product easily surpassed my expectations.
