Had work done by this company only because they showed up to install a shower from Safe Step Walk-In Tubs/Showers. Safe Step is the company Terry Bradshaw currently shills for. (Do not purchase anything from Safe Step - see my complaint on them on the BBB website from January 2020 and my review on this site). This is listed as a 2-4 day job from start to finish. Contractor gutted half my bathroom on 12/4/19. Not completed until 12/29. Because Safe Step does not repair any unseen issues there was a 6 day delay while I hired another plumber to move a pipe. Bathtub Doctor could not return until 12/13. On 13th they arrived to do work, with half the walls gutted down to studs, the contractor walked off the job 15 minutes after arrival because the wrong shower head was sent by Safe Step. In addition, contractor failed to show up for 3 later appointments. Never arrived on consecutive days. Different excuse used each time. Of the 4 actual days they worked, they were almost 3 hours late on 2 of them.

It started off fine - tech arrived a half hour late, but he was polite, and a very tidy worker. When he finished the job the shower would not drain. Drain was clear, but the shower floor ran uphill toward the drain. Everyone knows that won't work. I had to sweep the water to the drain. When I called the office they said they did not have anyone who could come back out for a week. Then, a full week later, they sent the same tech. He was clearly out of his element. He built another "mud" floor over the bad tile job... it did not slope toward the drain either. He walked off the job and quit the company. When I called the office again, apparently they did not realize the fellow had quit. I was told the owner was on vacation. So, yet another a week later, when the owner finally got back to me - he said they would send Martin's Flooring of Lancaster, at Bathtub Doctor's expense, out to fix the shower floor. At this point, I should note that we have only one bathing facility in our house, and it was useless, and had been that way since May 30, 2017. We had to rely on the kindness of local family who allowed us to bathe at their home. And while we are grateful that family came through for us, it was a hardship to have to travel for a bath at someone else's home. It was yet another week before Martin's was able to get to our house for the preliminary inspection of the work that needed to be done. Then another week and a half before they were able to do the work. Sam from Martins was competent, polite, clean, and best of all - he understood that water will not run uphill to drain. Sam successfully completed the job. Bathtub Doctor started the job on May 30, 2017 and it was not satisfactorily completed until July 11, 2017. That is a long to be without one's only bathing facility. Brian from Bathtub Doctor said he didn't realize we were without any shower. I do not know why he didn't comprehend that. He came to my home for the initial estimate. I mentioned that it was our only bathing facility then; furthermore, I mentioned it in subsequent emails and in messages left at his office. Let me say that Bathtub Doctor showed absolutely no sense of urgency to repair the problem they created. And to date, they have not called to follow up. Sam from Martin's did call several days later - just to see how things were.

technician was late but called to let me know but then had to go to his shop to get supplies. finished job late as he expected to do but left dust film all over entire bathroom when done. surface is a little rough in a few sections but overall I am pleased with the job. He worked very hard the entire time he was at my home.

it took a lot longer, two months about, only had one person working on it. Who had his own problems at the time. after finished just a couple weeks later a little water somehow over flowed and got under tiles did a little water damage to under floor and called them in for help but they said they couldn't help us and we would have to take care of it ourselves. Martin's flooring did the floor and said we would have to replace all the fllooring and it would cost twice as much than we originally paid.No one would even offer any help unless we paid for the floor all over again and more. Yet the floor is fine, just needs level light and the flooring to a small area put back on after all they are the snap together type and they did not put anything under the floor to protect from water in the first place. very disappointed to this day the floor is not finished. It hurts when you pay 18,000 out for a bathroom and no one will help you in anyway. Never again.

We have a two piece cream colored whirlpool tub that we installed in 1992 when we built the house. The manufacturer is now out of business so two of the people we contacted said they could not fix the small chips we had in the bottom of the tub and it would have to be either replaced or the entire surface refinished which was quite costly.
This was a unique tub with a special design on the top portion and we did not want to tear it out or lose the original design, let alone pay the big expense. We contacted the Bathtub doctor who not only repaired the small chips in the bottom of the tub, but he was able to remove some staining below the jets that we had been unable to clean ourselves, and we had tried every bathroom clearner on the market.
Brian showed up promptly and left no mess behind. He even ventilated so it did not lave a strong odor behind.
The tub looks like new and it cost less than $200, savings us thousands of dollars!

Response from THE BATHTUB DOCTOR
"Wonderful, glad we were able to help you."

Keith arrived exactly on time. He brought in his materials and began work. He was quiet and very professional. The tub looked wonderful when he finished, and the bathroom was absolutely clean. The finish is guaranteed for five years and beyond if carefully taken care of.

It was very had to get to this Company but after about two weeks Keith Snyder finally called me home. He gave me a
price over the phone and told me if has to drive to my home we might as well talk price before he came. He Company
was aware of the scratch at the top as I showed it to Keith Snyder. Keith looked at the tub and the scratch. He looked
at the tub and said this happens to fiber glass over a period of years. Keith told me the floor would have a different service
as he was going to put support on the floor containing a different design, the area where you have safety
issues. After Keith left with his $655.00, I was told not to use the tub for 24 hours, then to use cold water to wash the
sides and floor. The bathroom was so hot, the house smelled of the stuff they use and we didn't use the tub for 48 hours.
We noticed the flooring seemed to be damaged, one tile where Keith would have had his knees. When I observed him he
had thick knee pads on. Upon using the tub we discovered no safety flooring was applied, anyone using the tub has to enter
and exit with extreme caution. Being 75 years of age I had to be extremely careful. As of this day the floor is the same. The
crack was never attended to and I didn't bring the floor issue to Keith's attention because he had told me to never use
anything on the floor as this would ruin the flooring. OUR REAL ISSUE STARTED WHEN THE FLOORING SHOWED SIGNS OF
PEALING AND COMING OFF THE FLOOR. IT TOOK KEITH FIVE OR SIX DAYS TO RETURN TO OUR HOUSE. HE FOUND
FOUR TILES IN THE SAME CONDITION ONLY THE OTHER THREE WERE NOT STANDING UP. KEITH CALLED HIS BOSS BRIAN W OLSON AND WAS TOLD WE DAMAGED THE FLOOR AND SIGNED OFF EVERYTHING WAS OKAY. KEITH TOLD ME
TO READ THE BACK OF THE CONTRACT, THEN LEFT THE HOUSE. THE BACK OF THE CONTRACT IS BLANK. I DID SIGN
THE FRONT OF THE PAGE WHICH STATES "REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED TO MY SATISFACTION". I WAS TOLD TO CONTACT MR. OLSON BUT I ALREADY KNEW HIS OPINION. FIGHTING IS NOT MY STYLE, TELLING OTHER CUSTOMERS
WHAT TO WATCH FOR WAS EASIER. So, in closing, left with a bathroom floor that has to be replaced and a tub one could
break a hip in. And why would I destroy my floor causing myself another bill???????????????
Response from THE BATHTUB DOCTOR
"Initial phone call was received on 6-24-13. Our company repaired your bathtub on 7-2-13, but you stated you cannot get ahold of us for two weeks? After receiving a call about your bathroom floor, we returned to inspect only 2nd day after the 4th of July holiday (We are closed a few days for holiday). Upon inspection we saw that there were a few of the 12" stick on tiles peeling up on the customers bathroom floor, not only in front of the tub but in other places in the bathroom. There is nothing we could have done to cause the bathroom floor to peel. We are very sorry your bathroom floor is failing but it in no way could have been our fault. We lean over the bathtub to make the repairs, just as you would if you were cleaning the bathtub. You stated we told you to look at back of contract? We do not have a contract, so I'm not sure what you mean by that. We gave you an invoice when completed which you signed stating you were satisfied with the repairs. We are very sorry that your stick on floor tiles are peeling in your bathroom, we were there to repair the cracked fiberglass tub floor, and did not cause this to happen."

I had Keith (from the Bathtub Doctor) come over to reglaze my kitchen sink. He was very professional and even suggested what color I should go with for the reglazing. It did smell from the fumes but in the end I was very pleased.
Response from THE BATHTUB DOCTOR
"Happy to be able to help you with your project. We do vent the area as best as possible to cut back on the smell, unfortunately you cannot paint anything without there being a smell from any kind of paint. Even when painting a wall in your home etc... glad you were pleased."

Brian gave us an estimate and Matt did the work. Both gentlemen were extremely courteous, friendly and professional. I would definitely do business with them again and would refer this company to others. We were extremely pleased with the finished product.. GREAT JOB!

He did a really nice job and it looks really nice. He was very clean and professional; making sure nothing else was sprayed by using the tent to protect the tub as he sprayed.
Response from THE BATHTUB DOCTOR
"Glad to be able to help you out with your project. Reglazing is a great way to save money on a bathroom project, versus the cost of replacement."
