He did an amazing job!
The installation looks like a professional who loves his work, did it. All boxes and conduit are excellent quality and the wiring workmanship speaks for itself. This old apartment building is now safer with new replacements.
He also had to break up our back sidewalk and drill through our brick wall to install the meter outside. The finished product is beautiful!

This summer we completed a rather extensive renovation of our kitchen/dining room area. Matthew Shaffer was highly recommended by our kitchen designer as he was someone she worked with quite frequently and trusted completely. The fact that Matt was able to tackle ALL aspects of the remodel from start to finish was a big plus and played a big part in why we decided to hire him.

Our project started with total demolition of our existing kitchen, including removing a wall, all cabinets, ceramic tile floor, appliances etc. In order to accommodate a new pocket door and other aspects of the revised kitchen layout, it was necessary to relocate some HVAC duct work . This was an unforeseen snag which Matt handled quickly, calmly and reassuringly. He and his team then installed new hardwood flooring, new drywall where needed, additional electrical wiring, and all cabinets. In order to meet the deadline for the counter top template and installation, Matt would often work late and also on weekends just to make sure our project would stay on schedule. The final touches such as faucet, garbage disposal , cabinet hardware, installation of all kitchen appliances, as well as a new washer/dryer - even my curtain rod were all handled by Matt . Throughout the entire project, every effort was made to keep the mess to a minimum and precautions were taken to protect the other areas of our home from the dust and dirt that is unavoidable during a renovation. While Matt did a great deal of the work himself, at times he did have others assisting under his direction. We had complete confidence in his crew, they were all excellent, hard working and polite.

Even though Matt came highly recommended, he exceeded our expectations. At all times, he was totally professional, polite, and an extremely pleasant young man. Even our cats that don't care for strangers liked Matt and would enjoy watching him work ! He always kept us informed regarding the work schedule, we were never left wondering about what would happen next or when. If we called him for any reason, he always returned our calls in a timely fashion, communication was never an issue. Matthew Shaffer takes great pride in his work and our end result certainly reflects this. He was superb in every aspect of his job and an absolute pleasure to work with. We cannot recommend him highly enough

I had an excellent experience working with Matthew. He gave us a very detailed and itemized estimate for all of the work that needed to be done. He did the renovation all the way back to the studs. He came out and leveled the floors before the project. He put in extra studs, he put in new walls, ceilings, and floors. He came out and did a good job with all of the work. In the end the price came very close to the original estimate.
