Over the past 12 years, the Himalayan Pine tree next to the back terrace had been losing its branches from the ground up. We had also noticed that there was sap coming from the branches, which left long whitish streaks down the tree. I became concerned that the tree was diseased and feared that it would be pushed over in a wind storm. However, there is no good place for the tree to fall - it would have hit the house, the terrace roof, the pool, or the fence, had its shallow roots given way. Regrettably, I got estimates to have it taken down. George and Rudy showed up with their truck and equipment, and had this 37-year old tree down in a day, with the stump ground out. Although I really miss the tree, I feel much better that I don't have to worry about it falling any longer. I'm also pleased to not have to rake up drifts of 8-inch pine needles and piles of 10-inch pine cones.

We went with Schuykill Tree & Landscaping because my neighbor had engaged them to do quite a bit of work on her yard and also because their cost was very reasonable compared to others we had contacted. We live in a townhouse with woods in the back, so it's not easy to access our backyard to get work done. Since they were coming in to work on our neighbor's yard, it made a lot of sense to have them work on my yard as well. George and Rudy were great to work with. They were very courteous, prompt and flexible, with a real can-do attitude. I was very pleased with the work performed, and my backyard now looks so much better.
