The experience was wonderful in all respects -- our dealings with Romesburg Construction, the renovation process itself, and our finished product. Their bid was very competitive and comprehensive -- two other bids were lower but one contractor seemed to omit much of what Dave properly included up front, and the other recommended taking shortcuts that we didn't want to take. Dave had a creative design for our very large basement space, and helped us figure out how to make the most of the lawyout. He stayed on budget (our spend increased slightly due to a few adjustments we elected to make in process) and stayed on timeline. Dave was also a great help to us in making certain selections like pain color, and his subcontractors seemed very capable and accountable -- we actually have independently worked with his painter now, after the fact. The one or two concerns we had -- such as the proposed placement by the electrician of the basement light -- Dave came out and addressed promptly. And when after the work was completed one of our kids somehow got a closet door off track and our efforts to fix the situation actually worsened it, Dave gladly came to our rescue!

Dave Romesburg and team were fantastic. They were timely, maintained a clean work site and did a quality job. Great work, can't wait to hire them for other jobs.

After meeting with several contractors, I decided to hire Dave Romesburg of Romesburg Construction to do my kitchen remodel. Before I made this decision, I met with Dave several times. He not only provided me with pictures of his previous work but also gave me the opportunity to talk to one of his former clients who had their kitchen remodeled by him.
From the beginning I was impressed with Dave's knowledge and his attention to detail. He made allowances for unexpected things they might run into like the uneven walls in my house. Dave was aware of my limited budget and he went out of his way to help me stay as close to this budget as possible. I was also very pleased with the recommendations that he made as far as where to get the best prices for the cabinets, flooring, granite etc. as well as with the subcontractors he employs. Each one was very professional and knowledgable in their area of expertise.
I would highly recommend Romesburg Construction.

The work went excellent. They did quality and timely work, there was no nickel and diming, they did what they had to do, they showed up on time, they did their work, and they cleaned up. It was an excellent experience.

Romesburg provided excellent service. Quality of work was superb. The crew arrived every day , Promptly at 7:15, worked through the day until 3 PM. At the end of the day, the work site was cleaned up and all tools were either organized and stored or removed from the Site. The company did not cut any corners on construction methods or materials. They were well organized and the best craftsmen I have encountered in a long time. We had some minor changes that we did not get " nickel and dimed" on.
