John and his son, Brian, did an excellent job of replacing our tub and old shower with a beautiful tiled walk-in shower with glass doors. John has completed other projects in the past for us and has never disappointed. Excellent craftmanship, communication skills, and a desire to accommodate make working with John a pleasure.

John and his team did an excellent job with the gut renovation of our large tiled shower. He took the time to diagnose what had caused the cracking and shifting in our original concrete pan to make sure the rebuild would not have the same issues down the road. Tiling, grouting, trim, and moulding installation was exacting and looked great. While John was doing the shower we also asked if he could do several other completely unrelated jobs (re-build old, unsafe basement stairs, wire a socket and switch for a new light fixture, patch ceiling drywall) and he did a great job with those as well. Communication was very easy throughout the process - John always kept us aware of any issues and consulted with us immediately on decisions. We will be working with John and his team again.

We hired John Elliott General Contractor to do a wide range of work. Room remodeling in which a suspended tile ceiling with insulation was replaced with a solid sheet rock ceiling and new insulation. An existing sun deck was completely replaced and well enforced. The workmanship and materials used were first class. The appearance of the new deck is very pleasing. Remodeling in house stairs, including installing a new light. Installing an addition to a concrete walkway in the front yard. All the work was done with exceptional quality. The crew was always on time and all jobs were done timely. Clean up was done daily. They have demonstrated the flexibility to adjust to any existing conditions on site. I would highly recommend John Elliott general contractor for any in house or around the house work. He is professional with exceptional honesty. We have used their services in the past and we will be hiring them in the future for additional work.

John did a great job! This is my 2nd time using his services and will continue to do so. Even though he was busy with other jobs he made the time to come and see what I needed done. I appreciate that he always calls you back promptly even though he's busy and shows up when he says he will. He replaced a downspout on the gutter pipe, replaced old toilet seat, sealed up cracks in my stucco on my front porch, checked my honeycomb blind to see if he could fix it, removed my air conditioner from the window and carried to my closet.

Had water damage in basement bedroom suite from a failed facet. Needed drywall and baseboard repaired after water mitigation. Reached out to John based on numerous positive reviews. Quick response, assessment and cost estimate. Quick and flexible scheduling. Heads-up phone call and on time each day. Patched/install drywall, 2 skim coats, sand and paint. Replaced baseboard. Cleaned up at the end of each day. End result like new. Recommend.

It went great! The job was done to perfection by John and Brian. When John came to my home to assess what needed to be done for the leak in my dining room, I asked him if he could also take a look at my ceiling fan in the kitchen which was not working properly. He fixed it that day! I especially appreciated not only the quality of the work but John always communicated what he was doing and why. He always called when he said he would and when he would be a little late. I would give more stars if I could honestly.

I have used John for years now, everything from a large kitchen remodel, installing new hardwoods, to smaller jobs like this one. He (and his son Bryan) always do a great job. I have come to particularly enjoy his honest input. He will make suggestions that produce a better outcome for me, even if it will end up making him less money.

My wife and I unequivocally recommend John and his crew. The walls and ceilings are very unstraight due to the age of my house, but he managed to make everything look really nice. Please he dealt with my dog being home really well.

John and his son Brian completed a full kitchen remodel at our house. It was a fairly big project including removing a wall, closing up a window, flooring, cabinets, appliance install etc. They were both able to do all the work themselves, not needing to hire subcontractors as was the case with many of the other contractors we spoke to. The work itself is of great quality, the job took a little longer than expected but they both made sure it was done to perfection. We would hire them again for future projects.

John and his son did a great job on my complete kitchen remodel. My mid ‘80s kitchen now looks awesome. Lots of electrical work was needed and they added a ton of lighting. Made the process very easy and offered guidance when asked.

John and his crew were true professionals. He kept in touch throughout the work, letting me know time of arrival, work being done, etc. They worked efficiently and quietly (no loud music, yay!). My plumbing issue is fixed and the new shower looks great. I would definitely hire John and his crew again.
