They charge $125 for quote, they should at least tell you up front. With that fee they should at least give you a written quote, but a week went by with no quote and they still cashed the deposit. I really don't understand the A rating.

I have used Powell Pump and Well at least 3 or times now and am a little late writing a review. They repaired my well, which was leaking, installed a UV light to purify my well water, and even serviced some interior equipment. In all cases, they were fair, professional, and reasonably priced. I will definitely hire them again.

It went well. We are confident that our water meets the highest standards of purity and quality. The cost was $6,534. It was money well spent.

The rep that arrived was very nice, did a full diagnostic and brought back the info to the office to produce the quote. Results: -quoted products that were not required (via extensive personal research). I PURCHASED THE BEST WELL X1 CONSTANT PRESSURE TANK FOR 1,200 AND IT COME COMPLETE WITH NEW FITTINGS. ALL IN ALL THEY QUOTED $4,590.00 plus tax AS A BASE USING MY OLD PARTS AND AN ADDITIONAL APPROX 2,000 FOR UPGRADED UV LIGHT AND PUMP. 6,500.00!!!! MY COMPLETE "ALL NEW" SYSTEM WAS UNDER 3,500 AND 650.00 INSTALL FROM A LICENSED PLUMBER. DONT BE SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY.

It was fine, there was one miscommunication that was addressed when discovered. And they were accommodating and fixed it.

Very well! They ordered the new equipment and installed it promptly with no issues.

I forget his name (sorry!), but the gentleman who looked at the pump let us know that it failed because it had to fill a holding tank that was too small; because the holding tank was small, the pump continuously turned on and off when water was running, and this on/off cycle contributed to a shortened life of the pump. He suggested that we add a sort of regulator, which would keep the pump on for longer and regulate water pressure - for a couple hundred dollars, he assured us we would see a longer life of our new pump. In addition, he helped us to secure a warranty replacement of our old pump, which was still covered for another 2 weeks (lucky, right?). I am VERY happy with the work performed and with the way everything went. I'm sure I could've gotten this work done for less, but I doubt I would have gotten this kind of quality.

They were great. They came out very quick and the guy walked me through it and he gave me a bunch of different options of how we could handle it. So, he could have patched our system, instead of digging up the whole well first and then dug up the well. So he was willing to work with me in kind of delay it by a few days and then dig up the well and so on. They were the cheapest.

They did a great job, nice job in cleanup. Just excellent.

Technician was on time. I explained the problem and he told me what he thought would solve the problem. He went into the well pit and explained what he was doing. After his repair he tested the well pump and the holding tank. Everything worked as it should. The technician was knowledgeable and he answered all my questions. I am happy with my experience with the Edward Powell company and I will use them again when needed.

Very professional. Promptly answered phone and arranged time and date of inspection. They were very clear about what components would be tested during the inspection as well as the cost. They called and emailed to confirm date and time of the inspection. The person that inspected the well , Mike, was very knowledgable and friendly. He took the time to put on shoe covers before he entered the home and explained each step of the inspection. I was very satisfied with the entire well inspection process due to the professionalism of this company.

This company is family owned and operated. From the owner to the Secretary, very professional and knowledgeable! Our technician Chris even educated us on signs and symptoms of potential problems. He answered all of our questions thoroughly. I received an easy to understand report with a maintenace schedule. Very grateful of them giving us peace if mind. This company will keep my business.

After talking to a number of HVAC contractors most recommended Powell Pump & Well Drilling. The one contractor who did not name Powell did not provide any recommendations of other providers either. Based on the numerous recommendations I decided to give Powell a call to determine feasibility and get a quote. He promptly returned my phone call and setup an appointment to meet. The day of the appointment Ed arrived on time. After a short discussion of what I was looking to do, and which contractors I had spoken with we took a walk of the site and then determined some possible locations for the wells. Ed provided a thorough explanation of the process, from equipment to be used, how that equipment would access the site, what steps would be taken to comply with environmental regulations, depth and number of wells, how the wells would tie into the building. He made it all seem very routine to him, and explained everything that would happen along the way, including which items were his responsibility and which items would be the HVAC contractors responsibility. After meeting and talking with Ed I feel confident he would be the best person for the job. Ed followed up by phone a few days later to check on the status of the decision. In the end I chose not to go with the geothermal system, and thus will not be using Powell Pump and Well Drilling. However, if that changes in the future, I'll be giving Ed a call for my wells.
