This is the second time I have hired Mr. Stone to work on this house (An out of state family home used as a rental.) The first time was in 2000 when I extensively renovated the property. He practices a disappearing art of hand plastering and he is a master of the trade. He looks at the job and hands you a price written on the back of his business card. The work is complete, tight and smooth. The first time I spent about $10,000 with Mr. Stone and it was worth every dollar. The second time I had to lift the center of the house and put a new foundation under it. The house had settled and cracked. He repaired the cracks and replaced enough plaster that the walls looked as though they had always been there. I left Mr. Stone with the house key for two weeks and he started and finished the job on time. In my opinion, as a construction engineer, he's the best plasterer west of Ireland, and he's a gentleman.
Description of Work: Re-plastered cracking walls and ceilings of an 1865 house.
