Ivens Bronstein Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, full-service, AAHA-accredited small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas. At Ivens Bronstein Veterinary Hospital we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. All of the veterinarians are competent and in 8 years we have never had a really bad experience, but in my opinion one of the doctors, Dr. Israeli, does not really like cats. I try to see the other doctors but there has been turnover in the past 2-3 years and it is not clear from the website what the options are. I tried to schedule a check-up today and the doctor I wanted had nothing available for the next 4 weeks.

Holly shaves our Main Coon cat there, so he is not so long. Our cat is very laid back cat. He is very cooperative, and does well with the grooming. He comes back in fine shape, and does not mind the procedure at all. As long as she is available, I will take my cat there to be shaved.

Animal Boarding Kennels
Their professional staff were terrible. We've been going to them for years. There is one person in there that we absolutely love, which is why we keep going back to them. But, after this last time, I don't know if we would ever use them again. The staff was awful. They have no customer service ability whatsoever. We had an emergency, we had the electrician coming in as a matter of fact and our house-sitter was at work and we needed to board the dogs because people needed to be in and out and we got nothing but hard time. We were in Cape May, we weren't even home and we got nothing but a hard time. We were trying to board at least two of them and we had nothing but trouble. My husband almost had to come home because they were being so bad. It would have been the end of his vacation. They were absolutely terrible.

Our veterinarian's office is really really good. He's passed a way but his office employs several veterinarians. The fact that they can shave a cat is pretty amazing to me and the cat doesn't seem to mind, am impressed. We have used them for probably thirty years now. They have always been super with all workers,very kind, very gentle and very thorough.

They are real nice, and they are not pushy. They don't try to up sell like vets usually do. They have set hours, and they don't have after hours, and so no emergency.

This veterinarian service seems good. They gave us medication that was a little expensive, but I don t think that was their fault. Medications are always expensive. I was pleased with the service.

The surgical procedure that was done to remove tumors from our one dog was wonderful. Dr. Bronstein is the doctor we like dealing with at this fine vet facility. The care given to our two dogs is always quite genuine. We are certainly not looking to switch vets because our needs are more than amply met at this facility. It is also a good location for us and the attitude of the employees is constantly good here.
