"Contrary to Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s review, he did not call our company. Rather, another seal coating company chose not to work with him and referred the work to us. Also, the estimated and agreed upon payment for the job was $430.00. Mr. [Member Name Removed] underpaid by $70 and we accepted as a gesture of good will, while also standing by our work. As owner and operator of H&B Driveway Resealing, I was part of every stage of this job. I arrived at the home to do the estimate and speak with the customer, but no one was home at this time. I prefer to speak with the customer while giving the estimate to make sure our expectations of the work are aligned and we can provide what the customer wants. Unfortunately, this is not always the case and we were unable to speak before the work was completed. I left the estimate at the door and Mr. [Member Name Removed] accepted our quote. After the work was completed, Mr. [Member Name Removed] contacted us about some concerns he had with his driveway and the work we performed. As we strive to meet every customer's needs, I met with him at his house as soon as possible. I apologized for his dissatisfaction and explained to him that the only mistake made was that we did not meet prior to having the work completed. If we did, I could have explained, in greater detail than the written estimate, what the job entailed and what to expect after completion. Further, I could have answered any questions that he had so that our expectations would be aligned. We stand by our work and will gladly repair or redo any mistakes or issues caused by Mother Nature to ensure full satisfaction. However, this particular job was done to the best of our ability and I'm certain that no seal coater would have done anything differently or any better. To say that my company only cares about the quantity of jobs over the quality of work is not only untrue, but one of the most insulting things a customer has ever said to me. This customer says that he visited other sites and saw the same results. This is one point where we agree. We take pride in our work and stand by the work that we do. We would gladly provide referrals and pictures to any customer that asked to emphasize this fact."
"Good afternoon Mr. [Member Name Removed] and thank you for the kind review on Angie&#[Member Information Removed];s List. I went back to check to see who you were and could not seem to find your information. We have had customers named [Member Name Removed], but none of them live in [Removed Member Information]. Possibly the customer&#[Member Information Removed];s name was different. I just want to make sure you wrote the review for the right company? Please advise. Thank you. Diane Bond/Office Manager"
