Might be OK for a smaller project., but even then I could not recommend. Definitely not set up to handle anything major; this is a sole practitioner with limited resources. Never was able to connect us with contractors to provide preliminary costing. Then went substantially over the guaranteed design maximum without advance notice, and yet still was not able to complete required construction documents even though there were no significant owner-driven changes after the schematic phase. Neglected to submit bills from the structural engineer for months, contributing to the project exceeding the maximum since we had no idea what those costs were . Billed us time for private tutoring on an advanced software package which was never actually used on the project due to architect not understanding it. Although an extremely personable and quite talented architect (the design is lovely), routinely canceled meetings or was late, mysteriously lost e-mails and texts, missed messages, etc. Used antiquated software that broke down during our project. When we ultimately had no choice but to fire this architect and use another, it took her nearly a full month simply to export the existing files to a CAD-readable format and give them to our new architect.
