Dolan Appliance Repair

Technician quickly found the source of the leak and repaired it.

The repair of the Bosch went great. You would never know they had done any work which is good. No mess or parts lying around. Everything aligned. The only reason they get a B and my only disappointment was their unwillingness to deal with our $500 microwave which needed a new door microswitch. While arranging the visit for the dishwasher, I asked them if they could also repair the microwave which had a bad microswitch. They suggested we just buy a new one for a couple of hundred dollars. Instead I ordered a microswitch 3 pack for around $12 from Amazon, dealt with the approximately 5 screws to access the switch, replaced all 3 switches and put it back together. A simple job I would have gladly paid them ~ $100 to do while they were there for the dishwasher.

Well but work is not complete. The technician did not have a GE Dryer belt. Follow up, repair was timely and well done. Surprised technician didn't have a standard brand belt though.

Could not be happier by the service provided by Dolan's Appliance Repair. Service was scheduled promptly and the repairs have worked. Andy has been the service provider on all occasions and he is friendly and very knowledgeable about the products he has come to repair.

The water valve that feeds my ice maker cracked and flooded my kitchen.  I looked on Angie's list for appliance repair folks - called about 3 - none would service a Sub Zero (the Sub Zero's were either too complicated and/or too heavy to move).  Two of the places I called pointed me to Dolan's - I looked them up on Angie's List and they had perfect reviews.  Called them up and left message - the office manager called back and scheduled me for Friday - they provide you with a morning or afternoon option - I selected the 9:30 am to 1:00 pm option. 

The day before they were scheduled to come out we had about 8 inches of snow, but on Friday morning Andrew - the technician - called to let me know he was on his way.  Andrew showed up right on time - and he got right to work.  He replaced the water valve and then checked the entire system/ice maker etc to make sure there were no other problems.  I was extremely impressed by the fact that Andrew didn't just replace the one part and leave - he spent the time to make sure the entire system was functional.  I also asked about the light switch in the door sometimes it worked - sometimes it didn't - Andrew went right out and got the part from his truck and replaced it.  

Andrew was extremely knowledgeable - I spent the entire service visit asking him questions about the Sub Zero - pros and cons - Andrew didn't mind - he was able to provide me with excellent information while he went about repairing the unit. I will definitely use Dolan in the future... great outfit.

excellent work. technician arrived when they said they would. made a quick diagnosis, ordered the part and returned a day later to make the repair. Excellent!

It went fine. He came at the appointed time, examined the dishwasher and cleaned it.

They were reasonably priced and did a good job.

New Customer. I reviewed the Bosch-recommended technicians for my area on Angie's List. Called Dolan's at 9am this morning. They had a cancellation and were able to schedule me that day for a time window from 9:30 to 1:00. I got a follow-up phone call at 11:30 letting me know that Andy would be here at 12:00... Andy was here at 12:00. I described the problem as and quot;the dishwasher stopped mid-cycle. The circuit is still on, but all the dishwasher's indicator lights are out.and quot; He quickly found the dead controller board (and showed me the burn-hole in the center). He had a replacement board in his truck. Installed the new board, reassembled the covers, and started a wash cycle. Entire visit from arrival to fixed was ~30min. Efficient, courteous, and no mess. I would certainly hire them again. For reference, the non-tax charges on the bill were Controller Board $171, Service charge $115, and Labor $26.

They came out promptly, diagnosed the problem, called Sub-Zero to negotiate free parts (covered under the 12 year warranty) and were back out a couple of days later to do the repair, replacement parts in hand.
The repair person was knowledgeable, impeccable and left the kitchen immaculate.
Will definitely use again!

The price was extremely reasonable. This is a small company, I think its just the man and his son. They sometimes tend to get lost and take wrong turns so I give them a "C" on punctuality. But they are very dear and do a great job.

Spoke on phone before scheduling service visit. Technician discussed the problem with me directly and gave me a cost and time estimate over the phone resulting in high confidence that the work would be done by a knowledgeable and responsible person. Technician arrived right on time, went right to work, and very quickly replaced the leaky valve. Excellent professionalism and work.

Explained each problem clearly, and fixed them all as planned, no need for any return and no residual problem.

They were very honest and didn't sell me something I didn't need! They told me how they would fix it, and it is working fine now! They came when they said they would and were very professional.

Prompt courteous service including second visit to install the ordered part. Very easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend them.

I was glad that theses people were trustworthy enough to not waste my money attempting to fix a unit that wasn t worth it.
