I researched the local area for knife sharpeners and Ardmore was recommended. I called them regarding getting my knives sharpened. I specifically asked about the serrated knives due to my limited knowledge of knife sharpening. I got a blanket statement that 'We are a professional knife sharpening business. We DO serrated knives all the time.' I took in my serrated knife and in return received a straight knife, with no serrations back. Upon calling to say I had a problem, I spent over a week trying to get the owner to respond to my calls. I ultimately had to call them after 5+ times with only 1 call back from the owner. Their position was that "there's no need for a serrated knife if a straight knife is sharp enough", "the only way to sharpen a serrated knife is to make it straight" and "If you are unhappy, I will reimburse you for the knife sharpening cost of $5, but nothing more." I'm disappointed...it's a $55 knife to replace. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjzcMrlaP58
