I used Angi to submit a contact from this company, but that was 5 days ago. I tried calling the phone number and the called kept failing. There is no Google search listing for the company itself. I believe they may be out of business.

They took a $1000 deposit up front. I started questioning if they could take out the bay and put in a new window. I found they could not do the work after giving them the deposit. I also needed to have shingles glued down on my roof. They me told me they could do that part for free because I was purchasing (window, bay taken out replaced by new window and brick work - wall work). I didn’t end up having the window and bay and wall work done or purchasing the window and they charged me $750.00 glue down shingles. I only paid $500 to have shingles completely replaced and I told them I did not think that was a fair price for the service to just glue down lifted shingles. The bay and window taken out and replaced by their window - The 8'x6' window and wall needed rebricking - to match gap left by bay removal. Apollo supervisor decided they really couldn't do the job - Said I could buy the window and have another company put window in rebuilt space - No other companies contacted wished to use other than windows they dealt with. - When asking for $1000 deposit return, I was told I was being charged for the glued down shingles, $750.00. I argued that was to be free - but also that the repaired - replaced shingles done by another roofing contractor - after (Sandy Storm Nov 2012) only $500.0 Apollo men only glued down uplifted shingles that failed to seal uplifted after wind - March 2013. I said to salesperson at Apollo Window that bids for this emergency repair $200.00 to $342.00 not $450.00. Repair or replaced shingles Nov 2012 (of glued down shingles) due to storm Sandy uplifted March 2013.

"See copy of letter to us by [Member name removed] in which she cancelled contract. Also we replaced shingles repaired other roofing problems on an emergency status in which she endorsed in her letter. We had to have installation crew go on a cold and blistery day and work on 3rd floor roof. We feel that we did not charge enough for this emergency service."

WE CHOSE APOLLO WINDOW CO. BECAUSE OF THEIR REPUTATION FOR QUALITY, SERVICE, AND PRICE AND WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. THE SALESPERSON DID A GOOD JOB OF EXPLAINING THE PROCESS AND HELPED US CHOOSE A BEAUTIFUL FIVE-LIGHT BAY REPLACEMENT FOR OUR 9.5 FOOT PICTURE/DOUBLE-HUNG WINDOW. THAT ALONE HAS MADE OUR HOME QUITE THE SHOW CASE! THE INSTALLERS WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS, AND NEAT!!

"I also had a great experience with apollo window! im actually renting my house, my landlord hired them to do 14 custom double hung windows, and 3 provia doors. so far i have saved immensely on our utilities, and am very happy with the results. the products are beautiful, and i havent had a problem with anything they've done for us. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. am very happy with the products, and services. the installers were polite, punctual, neat, and very professional. they came and detailed the job a week later, and i still get calls from their office asking how we are doing. overall they were the best company i have ever went with, and i will definitely hire them to do improvements when we buy our own home.
