Stucco Solutions Inc

We had Stucco Solutions do the stucco and stone veneer on our house, they were hired through our contractor so I had no ability to review their work ahead of time. We had a lot of problems with the stucco. First, the crew didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish so when they put the stucco on the wrong part of the house (even though it was labeled) they couldn't understand us for us to tell them where to put it. They had to quit and wait until their foreman came back from vacation to explain that they had to rip the stucco off and put it in the correct place. They still put it on an area that it wasn't supposed to go but we ended up just saying ok to that since the scratch coat was already finished and I felt badly that they would have to rip it off another area. The color coat sample was a very smooth finish which I approved, unfortunately, when it was put on the house, there were many areas which were lumpy and scratched. Also, the color was not consistent, there were large stripes of light and dark colors, like they mixed the batches differently. They also only put on 1 color coat. I called the owner and asked him to get back to me since I had some concerns. About 6 weeks later he finally agreed to show up. He was extremely rude, walking into my house when I was talking to my appliance installer and saying, "you better get down here if you want to talk to me, I don't have all day." Then he was very adamant that the color changes were normal (I have never seen this on another stucco house) and the lumps and bumps were totally normal (no, they aren't). Also, there was some hairline cracking that is also supposedly "natural" after 3 months (he insisted that he couldn't see them at first until several of us pointed them out). Another stucco contractor told me that the finish was not right and the cracks were either from them putting it on too soon after the scratch coat or when the weather was too hot (it was incredibly hot that day). The owner took no responsibility for any of the problems. Then he had the audacity to lie to my face and say he was onsite every day and he put a third color coat on. Well, both the foreman and I were on site every day and I only saw him once when he dropped off supplies. Also, there was never a third coat applied, every lump and bump is exactly the same as it was the day the color coat was put on. He must have come in the middle of the night and put on a magical, invisible third coat, which must have been very hard since he is obviously sight impaired. After disagreeing with me (loudly - him not me) for 15 minutes, he finally said he would have someone come back and sand down a few high spots. I let him know that he should leave and not return.
