I had Reliance replace a flat roof on my garage in 2023 and I was so pleased with the work they did, that I had them return in 2024 to replace the pitched roof on my house. James and his team were prompt, courteous and left my property very tidy. The wind storms of February 2025 have been no match for my new rooves and I feel very confident and secure. What made me select Reliance was James's presentation which was comprehensive and concise. He was very approachable for any questions I had, and his explanations were very clear and not overly complicated. I felt he knows every aspect of his family business and knew he could handle any issues that might arise. Though any home project is inherently stressful, James put me at ease and I strongly recommend him and his team for your roofing job!

We had our roof fully replaced the first week of June. James was amazing throughout the entire process. From scheduling our initial appointment to the day work was completed it was a wonderful experience. James and his crew finished our roof in just one day. I liked his professional demeanor and straightforward approach which reflects his many years of hands on experience and knowledge about the products he uses (GAF). James is easy to communicate with and understand my project. Once we agreed and signed the contract he get it scheduled quickly. His crew did great job for my roof replacement and front siding replacement. Very competitive pricing also. I am very satisfied.

Hired Reliance Restoration to rip off our old roof and replace with an asphalt roof. James was easy to work with. He's organized and professional. Always answer his phone. It is a great pleasure for me to give a five-start review to Reliance Restorations. The original person I hired to put a new roof on my house kept giving me excuses for putting me off, then said he wouldn’t work for me and would return my money…except he didn’t. Three months after all this he is now under arrest and awaiting trial for contractor fraud. With that as my reference, Reliance Restorations’ conduct was most welcome. James Kim, the owner, is extremely reliable and professional. He gave me a very reasonable price—better than any of the other companies who gave me an estimate. Within days his crew was at my house and by 8:00 that night the job was finished. The new roof looks great. James made it all seem very simple. I cannot recommend this company enough for its price, reliability and quality of workmanship!

Reliance Restorations is one of the best experiences I’ve had with working with anyone on our home - James helped us immensely, no pressure with any of his roofing items, and sent us pictures and gave us every single reason to trust him along the way. In addition - he went above and beyond. During the time of our new roof installation, our county was on lockdown due to COVID-19 - Since we had active leaks, he called our township and secured permission to replace our roof in the midst of county lockdown. NO OTHER ROOFER DID THIS! Do yourself a favor and go with Reliance Restorations. It was easy, prompt, good value, and a great team to work with.

You don't think of having a new roof put on as a good experience, but Reliance did a great job. Price was good, owner very friendly and accommodating. The roof looks great - and there are no nails around my property. If you've ever had a roof put on, you know what an issue that can be. He did a shingle job on a split level and his crew was done by 3:00 pm.

We needed to replace our roof and had gotten (or attempted to get) estimates from 6 different roofing companies. The estimates were all over the place ($350, $6000, $13,000). and three of the companies never sent the estimate despite me repeatedly calling them. I called Reliance Restorations and spoke to James. I explained the situation and we set an appointment for the next day. James showed up exactly on time and inspected the roof. After some discussion, James took some pictures and said he would send me an estimate in a couple days. A couple days later I had an email with a detailed estimate for $5500 as well as an explanation of what additional costs could be incurred. I contacted James several times with questions and he responded very quickly every time. We eventually agreed on the project, signed the paperwork and I gave him a deposit for about 1/3 of the cost. James said it would be approximately 2-3 weeks before he could do the work. We had a significant amount of rain over the next couple weeks and it wound up being 5 weeks before the job was actually done. This could have been very frustrating, however, James was constantly calling or emailing me to give me an update and let me know when he might be able to do the job. When we finally had good weather, James and his crew arrived early in the morning and had the job completely finished by the end of the day. They covered any plants or bushes so they wouldn't get damaged, cleaned everything at the end of the day (including raking the grass) and picked up any nails with a magnetic roller. In the end, we are very pleased with the new roof and the project was completed right on budget.

Having dealt with multiple contractors in the past I was not looking forward to having my stucco removed. However I must say Reliance Restorations made this process very easy. From start to finish James was very pleasant to work with and was truly a man of his word. Always on time he exceeded my expectations. I must say it was very refreshing experience. James also recommended the James Harde fiber cement which was definitely worth it and looks much nicer. Thank you Reliance Restoration.

Job was not rushed, they listened to all my requests and comments, explained all the details of relevance when asked, used pro materials. Handled the HOA and permit issues. Did a great clean up at the end front and back of the house.

Reliance did a great job with our roof and educating us on our choices prior to the install. We were given a professionally put together portfolio that included info on the company, our full quote and descriptions of the materials that would be used. This was super helpful when it came to questions we thought of after and gave us peace of mind on knowing excstly what we were purchasing. The roof took one day, crew arrived on time and worked hard throughout the day. Our deck was covered and protected and at the end of the day you couldn't tell anyone was there they did such a great job cleaning up. Our roof needed some new pieces of plywood which was discovered after shingles were taken off, we were shown pictures and made aware of this as it was happening so again knew exactly what was going on and what we were paying for. All in all the customer service, constant and quick communication made this company very easy and enjoyable to work with.
