Paul Howland Tree Care

Had Paul come out to my property to remove a rather large oak tree, that was too close to another tree, and another smaller tree. He had also pruned some trees and grinded two stumps and some old roots. I was very pleased with this tree service - they even did some tree trimming near the electrical wires to the house, at no additional cost. His workers were very friendly, highly skilled and cleaned up well. Would use Paul again in the future.

The service provided was excellent and the workers were very professional. We will definitely use this company in the future and would highly recommend them.

I called to get a load of firewood and Paul brought a cord of wood in less than an hour from the call!  It's all good stuff and is seasoned well.  I will do business with Paul again in the future! Thank you.

They were terrific! Paul did some work for my neighbor so I left him a message to say we were interested.  He called back right away and made an appointment to come by at my convenience.  We walked the property and he was very knowledgeable about the trees, their condition and what did and did not need to be done.  Handed my a proposal right on the spot and the work was completed within a week.  Other than the fact that the trees were trimmed and cleaned up beautifully I couldn't even tell they were there.  Not a branch or bit of sawdust was left behind.  Definitely will be calling them again!

Paul did some work for my neighbor and they received a great recommendation. I left a message and Paul called back same day and we scheduled time for him to come out to our house. We walked the property and he was very knowledgeable about all the trees and made great suggestions about what to do and what not to do. He called to let me know the day before when they would be coming out. I was at work that day and other than the fact the trees looked great, I couldn't even tell they had been there. Seriously! Not a branch or wood chip to be seen. Price seemed very reasonable for the quality and professionalism.

Paul Howland tree service did an excellent job. The work was completed at the price quoted and the tree crew arrived at the scheduled time. The tree person crew had the correct expertise and equipment to properly complete the job in a timely manner. Upon completion all debris was removed and the area was left clean. They deserve the highest ratings for professionalism. I most strongly recommend Paul Howland Tree Care and I plan to use them again in the future when needed for trimming and other tree care. In 2012 I had used this firm for trimming several large trees.

We were provided with a prompt estimate on the day we called and the work was scheduled for 2 days later. The job went smoothly from start to finish at the estimated cost. The estimate was equal to or less than others we received. The tree stumps were ground and at our request a pile of mulch from the ground branches was left to use under our swingset. We would definitely use them again in the future.

Outstanding. The work was superb and exceeded my expectations. Initially I saw the tree crew working at a neighbor and asked to take a look at my property . The individual reviewed my property and provided a quotation and suggested I call Paul Howland if I wanted to schedule the job. I called and arranged to have the work performed. The tree crew arrived as scheduled and completed the work in a very professional manner . They truly did an excellent job and actually trimmed more trees han expected. When they departed the area was completely cleaned up and the trees looked great -- much better than I expected.

We planted 3 sweet gum trees in our front yard 35 yrs. ago, not knowing that they would produce an overabundance amount of fruit (that hurt when stepped on or fling in the air when mowed), The roots got into the sewer at the street level, with the backup at the vent on the front lawn.It took the boro days to get the roots out of the main pipes to the street and also to our vent on the front lawn. We finally decided time was right( 4 yrs. later) to have them removed as the sidewalk (cement) is rising from the root system,and we did not want to have another "backup".Paul Howland and crew gave a reasonable estimate for the work and did a good job.  We still have many feeder roots throughout the front lawn even though they did alot of grinding of the stumps.He said to call him if more roots should be removed.  Area was clean of any limbs, just the stump material which will be removed by a landscaper who will bring in dirt for planting grass. Very expensive Sweet Gum trees!

BOTH THE OWNER AND HIS HELPER WERE HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IN SUGGESTING HOW TO PRUNE THE TREES AND WHAT PLANTINGS WOULD BE BEST TO REPLACE THOSE THAT WERE DAMAGED.
