Maro's Floor Covering

Update. I was told in 2014 that the seams would disappear after they had been down awhile. The answer to that is NO they didn't. They are still very noticeable.

I made a quick decision on this rugs based on Angie's List rating of the company and because I wanted them installed before I move into my new home. Was told that the rugs were in the warehouse and could probably meet my date. Then there was problems with warehouse so installed two weeks after my move.

I should say that these rugs were the most expensive I have ever purchased.

They came on time, looked around and then went back to the warehouse to cut the carpet. The first day they installed rugs in the smaller bedroom and hallway. When they came back for the second day I told the installers that the bedroom had a very noticeable seam and the hall had three seams plus one seam was a bump and that I was very unhappy with the results. They did the larger bedroom and stairs that day and I'm very happy with both of them. They told me to wait for a few weeks to see if the seams disappear.

They didn't so I called he owner and he came right out and looked at the seams but said everything was done correctly so there's nothing he will do for me. Gave me all kinds of excuses as to why one room looks great and the other doesn't but bottom line he wouldn't fix them.

Oh yes, they also knock a hole in the wall when carrying the carpet upstairs. He came out right away to fix it but knows nothing about spackling a wall so I've had to fix what he did.

The sales person, Mike, was courteous, responsive, and informative. Guided us through the process as well as provided insights on install and various products. He worked with us on timing and was very reasonable with pricing. The install crew (father and son team) were exceptional. Moved heavy furniture carefully out of the way, installed quickly over two days, and cleaned up afterwards. To no fault of theirs, the level of dust generated from hardwood install required additional homeowner cleanup. The overall quality of product and service was what we were looking for and we would look to work with Maro's again in the future for additional flooring needs.

They were very good in helping us select an appropriate style of carpet for this job. They have the best reputation in the area for carpet selection, installation, and repair. They appeared when scheduled and did an excellent job of installation, fixing a bedroom carpet for free. The prices they charge are fair.

From start of sales to finished installation, this company performed in an extremely professional manner. We ordered carpeting to be cut to size to replace worn carpeting in our kitchen. This is a family-owned company with wonderful employees and installation folks.
The carpeting was delivered the day ordered, remeasured for accuracy, and bound right in our home. The installer was wonderful and very experienced. He bound it, laid it, and cleaned up after the job remarkably well, in less than one hour. We would definitely use this company again, and highly recommend them! (And, btw, they are awfully nice people, too!) :-)

We liked that they were not pushy, and were very knowledgable. They had helpful suggestions that were worth every penny. The guys were happy to order many samples as we were deciding which carpet for each room, and when the project was sidelined for a few months, we were not hounded by sales people. Their installers are very experienced and provided exceptional service. We would highly recommend Maro's.
