We hired Dave to fix up an older piano that we inherited from my grandparents. He did a great job; the piano looks and sounds great. Dave is a good communicator, punctual, reliable, and offers reasonable rates. He's also a great resource for finding other types of piano-related referrals. Highly recommend!

Dave was knowledgeable, efficient and personable. He's clearly worked on hundreds of pianos and knows their idiosyncrasies. He quickly repaired a broken keytop and even discovered my piano was built in 1938!

David was absolutely fantastic! From scheduling to actual service, he was extremely responsive and professional. I actually scheduled with another tuner first but his only availability was over 2 weeks away and my kids have piano lessons every week. So I contacted David and he immediately got back to me with a time slot that worked for us and scheduled it for the following day. I am so glad I went with him. BTW, when I called that first guy to politely cancel he was downright rude and belligerent. He thought it was unfathomable that I would cancel with him since he "was highly recommended". I told him I will NEVER recommend him and wished him a good day and hung up. After witnessing that sort of behavior, I am doubly, triply glad I hired David. Professional, courteous, and great tuner. There was something going on with the upper keys that should have constituted a service more than the basic tuning but David corrected it at no additional charge. I now have him on my calendar reminder to tune my piano every year.

David Helzner has an excellent website in which I contacted him about tuning our piano. Our piano has been out of tune for at least twenty years so it needed some cleaning inside and some serious tuning. David contacted me promptly the next day and we setup a appointment for him to stop by. He arrived right on time and was very friendly and easy going. The tuning/cleaning took almost 3 hours since the piano was so dreadfully out of tune. He vacuumed out any dust, lubricated the piano strings, tightened some parts inside and tuned every note precisely. The price was great and the punctuality and friendly approach was also a definite plus. It's obvious that David is a piano expert and he really did a heck of a job. We've had our piano in the family since the 60's and after not being tuned for over twenty years it sounds amazing! It's much more enjoyable playing when every note is perfectly in tune. David did an excellent job and I will be calling him again in the future to keep our piano in tune. I highly recommend his services.
