GRW Plumbing & Heating

I called and received answering machine. Got a return call within 30 mins each time! They arrived within a hour of call and very promptly got to work and completed in a timely manner using care and excellent service each time. I wont use anyone else!

No work was done. I was charged eighty dollars - when no work was performed.

Glen Watts, owner of GRW arrived immediately, leaving his own house full of guests, to save the day. He fixed the connection and garbage disposer and recommended a new garbage disposal unit, which the company installed the following week. I am eternally grateful to Glen and GRW. The company is outstanding.

They haven't sent me the bill yet. I just called them this week and left a message. That's what the reviews said about them, that they were slow to bill. I was very happy with them. I'm sure the punctuality was good. It doesn't stand out that it wasn't.

Difficult job and they did great.

I called GRW because one of my neighbors often sub-contracts with him.  Glen (the owner) called within a day and we scheduled the work for the following week.  It wasn't my neighbor who came, but rather the son of the owner.  He was very professional and worked dilligently for about five hours to finish all the tasks.  I was very pleased with the work that he did -- especially the extra work under the kitchen sink to bring the drain up to standards (he gave me the option, as a simple repair could have been accomplished by replacing what was there, but I opted for the better fix for the long-term). 
The work under the kitchen sink required that he go into the crawl space under the house, never a nice experience.  He did it without any issues, for which I was very grateful (I have had other workers, including HVAC and plumbing people, grumble about having to do into the crawl space).  As I said, very professional.
At the end of the work, I asked for the amount to pay, and he said they would send the bill -- I didn't even need to give a deposit.  A month went by and I still had not received the bill, so I called and asked for it.  I was delighted that it was under $600 for all the work and materials that had been used.
I will definitely use them again the next time I have plumbing work!

This was not an emergency situation. Our call was returned within a few days and an appointment set up for the next morning. Dave arrived on time and was very professional. He did an excellent job of installing the new faucet and was very neat. When we mentioned the dishwasher hose was not installed correctly, he offered to fix that as well. We would definitely recommend this company.

He is very professional and honest. His workers are great. Cleanup is great. The prices are reasonable.

They were punctual, responsive and did a good job. We had one little problem a few months later and they came back and fixed it.

They were prompt and responded well. They were very polite and I thought they did a very good job. We had to get this job done right away so I was unable to get several estimates to compare, so I don't feel comfortable giving a grade for price.

HIS PLUMBER INSTALLED THE NEW HEATER ON MARCH 4, 2005. I RECEIVED HIS INVOICE ON APRIL 23, 2005. FOR $922.10. I CALLED MR. WATTS AND ASKED WHY HIS INVOICE WAS $72 ABOVE HIS QUOTE. HE SAID HE BILLED ME BASED ON THE ACTUAL LABOR COSTS, WHICH INCLUDED A PLUMBER (THE ON SITE PLUMBER WAS NOT MR. WATTS, BUT ONE OF HIS OTHER PLUMBERS) AND A HELPER. I COMPLAINED THAT THE HELPER WAS ONLY THERE TO HELP BRING IN THE NEW HEATER AND TO REMOVE THE OLD HEATER. HE DID VERY LITTLE OTHER WORK. AS A RESULT, WE NEGOTIATED A NEW AMOUNT. I AGREED TO PAY MR. WATTS AN ADDITIONAL $25 OVER HIS QUOTE OF $850 FOR A TOTAL OF $875.

I HAVE USED GLEN WATTS MULTIPLE TIMES SINCE I PURCHASED MY HOME AND WOULD NEVER CALL ANY OTHER PLUMBER BUT HIM. HE DOES NOT PAD THE BILLS WITH UNNECESSARY WORK AND IS VERY HONEST.

GLEN WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY QUICK WITH ESTIMATES. HE ALSO FOLLOWED UP AND COMPLETED THE WORK IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER. PLUMBING WORK IS NOT THE SORT OF THING YOU CAN JUST LET GO! FAST AND COURTEOUS SERVICE WITH COMPETITIVE PRICES.
