Dallas Brothers Monster Paving

All of the work was completed and we are thrilled with the outcome - Josh and his crew could not have been more accommodating, as far as the effort they put into making sure all of the projects were completed to our satisfaction. Attached to this post are a number of pictures (some before, some after) that show the work that was done. Despite some changes/situations that developed throughout the course of the projects, Josh never altered the original estimate and delivered a fantastic final project. He repeatedly said that he wanted us to be happy with everything and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result. Our experience with Josh and Monster Paving was about as positive as I can imagine, and we will certainly recommend them and call on them for future projects.

These guys did a great job for a fair price. They were quick to give me a quote (2 or 3 business days from first contact) and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time after I accepted their proposal. I have gotten multiple complements from my neighbors on the new driveway and two people have asked me for their contact information. If you are putting in a new driveway I highly recommend you get a quote from Monster Paving.

I think it took about a month from accepting the estimate to performing the job, after a lot of emailing and missed appointments. In fairness, it was April/May, and an especially rainy and wet spring, and I understand that we were a relatively small job and not a lot of revenue. Still, more aggressive communication on their part would've been nicer. The work itself was great, you can't tell the driveway was repaired, and the seal coat looks fantastic. Post-work research suggests we paid about $50 more to Monster over a bigger, national company. I think that's more than reasonable in order to help support a local group of brothers trying to build a business than some (ahem) monster corporation out of state.

Working with Josh and Monster crew was fantastic. Responded to all questions within 24 hrs. Was a little hesitant initially (don't know why - probably the name), but once the work started everything went as planned. Came in time and got done as promised. The work was clean and professional. Most important - if the owner is willing to get his hand dirty and work alongside the crew to provide the finishing touches - that speaks for itself. Overall - amazing job on the driveway and the beligan block edging. Did I mention the price? Monster was the pick after talking to 2 dozen contractors over a 2 year period.

When  i meet Josh when he came out to my home to give me the estimate for everything that i wanted done i felt very  comfortable  How  he explained everything to me with confidence.  The guys he sent out to do the repairs on the outside of my home was very professional as well  I most definitely will recommend this business to someone else.

This company was recommended, along with others, from a Facebook group where I asked for suggestions.  Josh was excellent with communication from the get-go.  Their website says 24 hour quote and he did that and his quote was far better than others.  From there, he was quick with emails (generally within 24 hours) and answered a lot of questions we had.  I did have to check back in a couple of times to confirm the day or week they would be coming however.  
They came the day he told me he would and got right to it.  We were not home during the work however.  The new driveway looks great however, I was disappointed by how they left things.  The entire sidewalk in front of our driveway as well as part of the sidewalk in front of our grass is very dirty from the asphalt and work.  I also have a little walkway from the driveway to our front porch that is cement and that was also dirty.  They also got some of the trim on our siding dirty and there is very small damage to the trim around our garage.  Our hose was in the way which they wrapped up and I believe they also needed to use the water for part of their work.  While this is fine, I am missing the nozzle that went with the hose.  
I did notify Josh of these things and he did respond and say they would come to clean up but I have not been told when that will occur.  Unfortunately I cannot wait too long as I want to try a pressure washer to get rid of the stains on the cement that I hope will come up

The project went very well.  Unlike some other contractors that we called for quotes, Josh at Monster Paving was very responsive via phone and email and he came out to do an in-person estimate on the weekend (the only time I was available).  Josh provided several quotes with different options for me to consider, and they were all competitive or less than any other quotes we received.  Then when it was time to start work, Monster Paving was very accommodating to my schedule, doing the work around the time I would be travelling so that I wouldn't need to use my driveway at that time.  The Monster Paving crew was courteous and efficient and the whole project only took 2 days to complete--one day for paving and then one day for seal-coating after the paving settled in.  I definitely recommend this company for its quality work, efficiency and cost, and I would certainly use them again.

The quality of the work is top notch and receives compliments. ?Due to being a small mom and pop operation and the crazy weather we've had this summer, it did take them a while to complete work (about a month in total.) ?They were, however, very punctual with communications, keeping appointments for estimates, and kept me in the loop with the weather and when our job would be done. ? ?The workers were all very professional and friendly as well. ? You couldn't beat the price, too! ?I contacted three other contractors and they wanted $12,500-$15,000 for the total job. ?Dallas Bros did it for under $10,000. ?If I need landscaping or concrete work in the future, I will certainly contact them for an estimate again.

They were very reasonably priced and did a good job.
