The contractor did a wonderful job.
We signed a contract near the end of September, with Lowes. The work was suppose to start in the beginning of November, but didn't start until December.
In October, Lowes delivered some material. It turned out to belong to another job, not ours. In the beginning of November, they delivered material to our home. They couldn't fit the fork lift between the houses, so they dumped it off on the sidewalk. The fork lift was huge. The delivery person said their job was to deliver, not unload. He said that he was told that the contractor was suppose to start the next day.
No one in the store seemed to care about the material left on the sidewalk, except the store manager. The store manager was the person who sent a couple of guys over, to move the large boxes of siding into our yard.
The sales person had told us, if we had any problems to call him. He told us, "It isn't my department". This was on the subject of our delivery.
It was a frustrating experience. I loved the job the contractor did. They did a wonderful job.
I won't be hiring Lowe's to do anymore work on our home. It was too frustrating. It was difficult to get any answers, before the work got started.
