the vet I saw was great, I have 2 ferrets and nobody around here knew much about them it was hard finding a vet that was even willing to see them. but they had really reasonable prices and the vets and technicians seemed to know a lot about the diseases they could get and the vaccines they needed. I felt like they really knew their stuff and will continue to go back.

After going thru the phone book I chose Lakemont Veterinary Clinic. I explained my situation and was made an appt. in a very timely manner.

At the appt. we saw Dr. Kessler who was very cordial and knowledgeable . He did tests, a blood panel, skin scrape and allergy testing (previous vet did not check for allergies but was adamant about the flea and food allergies) The testing came back that my cat was allergic to dust mites, saw grass, and fleas. The Dr. thoroughly checked my cat from head to paws and found no fleas. He did explain that even though there were no fleas in evidence that he could be found, and along with the dust mites was most likely the culprit.

My cat was given an antibiotic and put on Atopica that he gets once every day. We have taken him back for a check ups and are seeing a great improvement. His hair is growing in and looks much better. It's an ongoing work in progress and my cat will probably have to be on allergy meds the rest of his life ( his dosage still needs adjusted as he heals) but I love my cats and feel so much better knowing my cats quality of life was made better.

I was always pleased with the treatment my pets received, and the service I received.

I called in a panic over my chinchillas condition and they got me an appointment right away. There was only about a two minute wait in the waiting room to get called back to the exam room. Dr. Yeager is the most caring and compassionate veterinarian that I've been to. She knows a lot about chinchillas and small animals. She is actually the one of the only vets in the area that will treat a chinchilla. She talked to him and held him like he was her own really showed care and concern. She was very thorough in her exam of Rio and explained how to administer his medication very clearly. Chinchillas are naturally timid but he went right to her. She is an excellent vet and I will definitely continue going to her for all of Rio's needs.

It went extremely well. I feel that they take very good care of my dogs and my concerns for them. Dr. Piper and his team is very easy to talk to. He urged me for over a year to have their teeth cleaned but I just kept putting it off. My Shi tzu had two very decayed molars that he extracted plus three other teeth that were loose. I have seen the biggest change in him (for the better) since he had these teeth pulled. Plus their breath smells so much better!!! I have been taking my dogs there for about four years. My only complaints are that they are VERY slow checking you out when you are finished and I think, a little expensive. But they do accept the Care Credit card which is an interest free (for a limited amount of time) credit card. I would recommend Lakemont Vets to anyone!!

Dr. Piper is always very courteous and and kind with my dogs, Office staff is courteous and there is very rarely a wait.

The service was fantastic. From them making time to get him in even for a non-emergency to the way that they cared for and treated him. The doctors and the technicians always give you plenty of detail on what they are seeing and make sure you understand what is going on.

I cannot say enough goods things about everyone there. Their expertise is wonderful, you are always greeted and welcomed like you are an old friend and there is no doubt that your pet is being well taken care of. I have been using them for years, with Dr. Piper being the original member of this practice and everyone who has come on board since is just as wonderful and caring as Dr. Piper. They are wonderful. I would highly recommend Dr. Piper and his wonderful staff!

They really have a personal relationship with my pets. They know my pet's needs and treat them like family. They are not the cheapest but they are always on time. My overall experience with them has been good.
