Installation crew (Mike & Joe) was fantastic and worked very well together. They answered every question that was presented to them and their work skills are quit impressive. Our units are working perfectly and we are extremely satisfied with the install. Thanks Randy, for setting us up with the best.

The workmanship was excellent...a truly professional job in every way. The workmen arrived on schedule, and they finished both projects with time to spare. The quality of product and installation has blown us away. It is rare these days when a contractor keeps his word, and takes the time to do an exceptional job. We've got him bidding another project for us. I highly recommend this company!

Mr. Beers was excellent in his response time and he answered all of my questions in a timely and professional manner. He didn't pressure me to buy the most expensive equipment. He was very respectful. I highly recommend this company.

It was a Friday evening at 6 pm, (cause these things only happen on weekends it seems) when I had company staying over. I walked outside and realized there was raw sewage coming out of the air vent line in our yard. I called everyone I could and a different company answered and said they would be out but not until Monday morning. So we had all weekend to get through. I had to embarrassingly tell my company they would have to drive down the block to Sheetz to use the bathroom. In the meantime, I noticed sewage was also coming up into the basement. Kept calling but wasnt getting any response from roto rooters or other companies. Message boxes were full or they never responded. Anyways, Monday came and I was elated when this other company finally showed up. Their guy looked at everything and said it was going to be a two man job so we would have to get another guy out there as well which would be more expensive. Also, he needed to get some industrial equipment that was going to be an extra $160 an hour. I said ok because, what choice did I have at this point. He got on the phone with his supervisor who told him that they actually couldnt even do the work because they arent licensed to work in Altoona, just up the mountain. The guy apologized and left. I went back to my list again and called everyone all over again. Chuck Beers answered right away and said he would be right out ( I think it was probably during his lunch break). He came, take a look outside, grabbed some equipment and cleared the line in five minutes. He then went down to the basement to open a sealed drain to clean out the mess there. He was extremely polite and friendly. My neighbor came out while we were outside and said hi to him because they had just installed a hot water system for him. My neighbor asked if they could adjust the water pressure so Beers said he would pop over and do that for him as soon as he was done, which he did. Beers saved us a bunch of money. Had we gone with the other guy I can only imagine what the bill would have been. It was a clogged trap where the air vent comes up. He only charged us $89 for the visit. He's definitely my go to guy now.

To begin with I had an acquaintance working for me that works for cash under the table. He claimed to "know it all". Big mistake! After realizing that he was making a bigger mess than I had to begin with, I fired him. By that time he had removed the toilet and vanity sink in the bathroom of the home I bought but hadn't move into yet.

Next mistake: I called a local plumber Chuck Beers to finish the work. First of all, he sent his son and another person to do the work. The toilet wasn't installed correctly because it would not stop running and I had to shut the water off and flush it with a bucket of water each time I used it. Also, since the floor isn't level, they installed it crooked as well. They didn't even install the seat correctly. I told them that the original toilet wasn't leaning like the new one was, but the son said that there is no way to fix that? The other part of this is that they didn't even install the new sink correctly either - it was 2 inches closer to the bathtub than the original sink because they cut the hole for the drain pipe in the wrong place. It did not drain either - the original old sink didn't have a problem draining. I made them come back and move the sink over to where it belonged. He said that it would drain slow because I have an old house? As for the toilet, he told me that the workings were bad and I needed to call Kohler for a rebuild kit? Out of sheer frustration, I went to Lowes where I had purchased the toilet and told them that it was bad and I need to return it. I spoke to several of the managers as well as person in charge of plumbing. They all assured me that the toilet I bought must have been installed wrong. I was determined to buy a different one and pay them to install it - until that night I didn't know they did installations. They suggested that I let them do the install on the toilet I had and if it was bad that they would replace it for free. The guy they sent was excellent. It only took him 15 minutes to make necessary adjustments to the workings and to use "toilet shims" to level it. He also reset the seat because was put on wrong. As for the sink - he told me to get Liquid Plumber and use it as directed. He smiled and said that there's a trick used to make sinks drain slow so the plumber will get a call-back to fix it. Absolutely right - I now have a level working toilet and a sink that drains just like it should. Will never recommend Chuck Beers - totally ripped me off for $405. I'm not a rich person, only a single working woman who has paid dearly for everything she has.

This company was hired by our builder to install all plumbing, heating and AC in my new home. They placed the AC unit outside the living room window. They didn't test faucets after they were installed and when I turned on the outside faucets, water sprayed all over me. The water wouldn't stay in the tub when the stopper was down. The humidifier on the furnace leaked. The furnace stopped working within 2 years after I moved in. The AC stopped working about two years after I moved in. The hot water heater also stopped working within a year or two. I spent $1000 for repairs on new appliances before I lived here four years.

Response from CHUCK BEERS PLUMBING HEATING

"In response to [member name removed] comments , the contractor placed the mark for the ac placement so it would not be under a bedroom window which makes more sense. Regarding any equipment failure I have no control over that , the Equipment was American Standard which has a quality performance reputation. She failed to mention any repairs were done in a timely fashion . And I,m certainly sure any repairs came no where near here accusation of 1000.00 All parts would have been under warranty for a period of 5 years. All customers are given the option to purchase extended warranties to cover labor cost on any Equipment our co. installs. CON"
