I was late coming home to the appointment, but Lyle and his team had shown up on time and started working right away. His whole team was in action. It went so smoothly that it was hypnotizing. I couldn't help but watch his team expertly maneuver through the tree to trim off dead and unhealthy branches. When they were done, everything was cleaned up nicely. I am grateful that the tree is healthy and that Lyle Blum works to protect trees. That was important to me since the large oak was one of the reasons we liked this house so much. I look forward to seeing how it looks this summer! I highly recommend Lyle Blum! I will be using him again in the future when the tree needs to be trimmed again.

We have a massive oak in our front yard that a previous company did some work on, but Lyle's crew had so much more attention to detail and care of the tree. The previous company basically just cut low hanging dead limbs and trimmed branches back. Whereas Lyle's team actually went into the tree and examined/trimmed the different limbs and the tree looks so much more beautiful and healthy now.

I want to speak on the integrity of this company. I did not use them for cutting down trees. One of their pieces of equipment backed into my mirror the other week early in the morning. My experience in the city has always been that folks will usually just drive off after something like this. Lyle's company didn't do that. They knew what happened and they took full responsibility for the issue. I was moved by that and it made me happy knowing there are honest folks out there. If he's willing to own up to a mistake like this, I am sure his company takes pride in his work. I'll be recommending this company to others, will use them if I need a tree taken down in the future, and wish them the best.

They did a great job. Access was difficult since the property was in a tight location, and there was a hill and steps were involved. Some of the trees overhung a swimming pool. Kyle's crew worked diligently and professionally. They removed all the trees and cleaned up in short order. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Lyle was in the middle of the estimates I received and I am very pleased that I chose him. They were very professional and had the tree down and everything cleaned up in about 4 hours. They did a great job!

Lyle and his team were excellent. When a tree fell over during a storm I reached out to several local tree companies, Lyle was the most responsive and came over to take a look right away. While he was here looking at the fallen tree I asked him about "topping" my three other trees in the front of my house. He informed me that "topping" was not a good choice, provided me with some materials on proper tree care. I asked him to write up a quote for doing both the tree removal for the fallen tree and for his team to work on my other three trees. The fallen tree was removed by my neighbor in the meantime, as it was his tree that fell in my yard. But I decided to have Lyle and his team come out and work on my other three trees (2 Norway Maples and a Japanese Maple), they did a great job, they were fast and efficient, his team of three came with full safety gear on and you could tell from the minute they started that they are pros. They cleaned up the yard after they were done and the trees look great now. I would recommend Lyle Blum LLC in an instant if you care about your trees and want a true certified arborist to handle them.

I'm always working and can't really reach out to contractors during the day, so I sent a note through Angie's list outlining the work that needed to be done. I got a very quick response from the office manager, Tracy, who said that they would be in touch to discuss the job. A day later, Lyle himself called and set up a time to come out, review the work that needed to be done and provide an estimate. The estimate was fair for the work to be done, so we agreed on the spot to do the work. Lyle said they were currently scheduling out for the end of October, but that he would give me a call when he got back to the home office to provide a date. Much to my surprise and delight Lyle called to let me know he had a cancellation for the very next week. The crew arrived on time and did a great job with the two trees. Lyle was very knowledgeable about the trees versus someone who might just come out and "top off" the trees, which wouldn't have been good for the tree. I appreciate his punctuality, the expert work and professionalism. I would definitely hire again.

Lyle showed up when he said he would for the estimate. The price was very reasonable. He called the night before the work was to be done to confirm. The work was performed to perfection and they left our property spotless. Lyle then called after the work was done to make sure that we were happy with the job. Great service from a responsible company. We will use them again and highly recommend them.

Had a Maple and Oak tree trimmed in front yard. Lyle and his crew were on time and professional. Trees were trimmed per meeting with Archie in the fall, debris cleaned up, and branches hauled away. Very happy with results.

Lyle provided me with the best quote of $900 to cut down a 35-40 feet high dead White Ash Tree in the front yard and remove the debris. Lyle was able to do the job with in a few weeks of calling him which was greatly appreciated. Lyle and his team arrived on the scheduled date with all the professional equipment to do job. The job was done in very professional way and the clean up was neatly done. Lyle was able to to take down two additional branches on a very tall tree in the back yard for an addtional $300. I was very satisfyed with work and would defentiley hire him again.

Actually the work itself went very well, BUT they removed a brick edging without my knowledge and neglected to replace the bricks back into position. When I cleaned up, I realized what they had done, I called back. Apparently after final payment was made, their professionalism was finished. A couple times I was told that they would be back OF COURSE. Then I was told straight up that they didn't feel like returning. Eventually owner became quite hostile and wouldn't return calls.

It took a couple calls after their quote to get a response as to when they would come. They were one time on the day of the work, were efficient and clean up was thorough. Their equipment did some damage to my lawn and my neighbor's in a couple spots.

Everything was great. Lyle came by for the quote, calling to let me know he was running behind schedule. He called to confirm appointment to do the work; they showed up on time and did an outstanding job. They were very professional and cleaned up well, all in about 2 hours. I love how the trees look now.

Without my knowledge or consent, the crew removed all the brick edging along the perimeter of my yard. Of course, I would have given my permission if it was necessary BUT WITH THE AGREEMENT THAT THEY BE PUT BACK!!! Because of the mountain of ground stump debris that I had to deal with, I didn't notice that the bricks were gone. When I called Lyle, he vaguely said that he would come out when he was in the neighborhood. After ample time, I got no response when I left messages to find out when this might happen. I finally got a response when I called and didn't identify myself and said that I wanted work done. At this time he curtly snarled that he wasn't going to do the work, to quit calling, and to do the work myself. SO, MAKE SURE THAT ALL WORK/CLEANUP IS COMPLETE BEFORE HE TAKES YOUR MONEY BECAUSE THAT WILL BE THE LAST YOU'LL SEE OF HIM!!

It was a good experience. My neighbor recommended them. I assumed...they always pick good people. So, that's why I called him. He came and gave me an estimate. In fact, I got an estimate the prior year and we ended up not doing the work because something...we had to use the money for something else that we had allotted for that. So, I called them back that next year, last year, and said he had given me an estimate the prior year and we didn't get the work done. I asked if he still wanted to do the work and he came back out. We got the ones done that we really needed done. They do a good job and they are really fast. He's very professional. He's very knowledgeable. He's an arborist, he doesn't just cut down trees; he knows about trees. He told us exactly what time he would be there.

It was one of the trees that we held aside from when he did the others. It must have been diseased and it just fell over during the thunderstorm. When I called him and told him that it was laying in the neighbors yard he made an effort to come out quick. He fit us into his work schedule. I think I called him on a Monday and he was here on a Wednesday. It wasn't a big span of time. They were here about 45 minutes. It was an excellent cleanup not only in our yard but the neighbors yard. I was very pleased. It would have been cheaper if they hadn't removed the stump but my husband wanted the stump removed. After the cleanup you could never tell there was a tree there. I think the price was fair for the size of the tree and the job. I was pleased with it. He was great. He came and answered all my questions. He called me the night before to tell me they would definitely be there. It was very easy. He told me when they would be here and they showed up. He was very professional and knew what he was talking about trees. I told him when the next storm comes and the next tree goes down I would be calling him again.
