Kitchen Fair
About us
In 1963 Jack Lees first opened Kitchen Fair in a small showroom in the Pines Plaza Shopping Center in Pittsburgh's North Hills. It wasn’t long before he moved to a larger (and the most recent) location at Elfinwild Road & Route 8. In 1964 his son Jim joined him and worked his way through all aspects of the business and eventually into sales. In 1979 Jack retired & sold Kitchen Fair to Jim who, to this day, owns the business. Family owned & operated.

Joe from Kitchenfair is a true professional. He did all of the work on his own quickly and cleaned up everyday afterwards--he worked so efficiently that I swore he had invisible elves helping him! I think he represents that company very well in his professionalism and his personality. He is very nice to the family pets too--especially one particularly nosy cat!
The process was very easy. Denny came to the house initially to give us an estimate. I really appreciated his suggestions on the design. Everything came together nicely, Joe's attention to detail is amazing. My husband & I are very pleased with our new kitchen. It is my favorite room in the house!
We hired this company after seeing our neighbor's kitchen that they had installed. I was very impressed with the attention to detail and was pleased to hear my neighbor's rave review. Please do yourself a favor and check out this company if you're in the market for a new kitchen--you won't be disappointed!
When the cabinets arrived, there was a and quot;spotand quot; on one of the doors which was caused by the knot in the wood. Before I could say anything, Joe said that he would order a new one because he didn't like it!! My husband and I were provided with very helpful suggestions and advice that helped us immensly. For instance when considering design layout, Denny suggested an option that would help me (I have a three year old) to keep him away from the stove while I was cooking. Joe stood in the kitchen in the very early development stage and held the layout drawings in his hand. He then suggested some additional lighting - which again have been extremely helpful since the completion.
I was referred to Kitchen Fair by a neighbor of my mother, who used them in her kitchen remodel. She kindly allowed my husband and I to see her kitchen and answered all of our questions. Her kitchen was lovely and frankly, I remember thinking that I could not believe that Kitchen Fair had done the work! Anyone who has seen the outside of the store will know what I mean. It hasn't changed appearance-wise in probably 30 years! It does not feature a and quot;beautiful showroomand quot;. But the prices were more than reasonable and the work was so superior that I have called them to assist me with another project. Perhaps most telling of all though, is that we have referred several people to Kitchen Fair - one of whom has already had her kitchen remodeled and another who is in the design stage!
