A & S Carpet & Flooring

A&S did a great job with our flooring. We needed to change materials after the demolition portion of the job and they were rapidly responsive. Frank researched other options and had them waiting when we arrived at the showroom. This is the 3rd time we have used them (cork flooring in kitchen, carpet in mud room and now basement floor). Excellent work each time.

It became obvious that since I wasn't spending $10,000 or had an expensive house that I was going to be treated as a 2nd class customer. Had to accommodate their schedule multiple times and I had to take work time off. Prepared room ahead of time and removed furniture, so an easy installation. After ordering carpet two weeks before, was told that I was a fill-in and all the installation times for the week were filled. It became obvious that customer service is not the priority. Installer nicked every wall and ruined baseboard. Had to take more time off work to show the company what their "contract worker" did. Not happy installer wasn't a A&S person as was expected. Week later substandard replacement baseboard rejected. Will just complete work myself. All together, spent over 10 hours repainting, replacing baseboard, missing work. Unfortunately, nowadays, substandard work is the norm. Wanted to like the company, but they made it extremely difficult. Unless you have a $500,000 house and spending over $5000, don't bother.

Excellent. A&S people were wonderful to work with.....very professional and accommodating. They have an excellent carpet installer. We love our new look and will be happy to recommend A&S to anyone. This is a first class outfit!

They were awesome. They were fabulous. They were just incredible. Everything about them is A+.

An employee came to the house, gave me an estimate, and helped me pick out the new flooring for the bathroom.

It turned out to be a difficult job, There were 2 floor coverings that had to be taken out, and because my house is old, before the new floor was installed, the floor had to be leveled.

The whole job took one 1/2 days, but both men (in the end, there were 2 of them) were polite, cheerful, and did a wonderful job. And despite the unexpected problems, they stuck to their estimate. 

I've recommended them to friends.

The entire process was great. The salesman was easy to work with and steered me in the right direction regarding the products for my specific situation. The installation was timely and the installers were very professional. Everything was great and I have not complaints.

The cost was too high, but the guy was very nice.

Wonderful. We finished our basement, adding a gameroom, bathroom, and kitchenette area. Everyone was great to work with and patient with me as I took many sample home to see how different carpet and tile choices would coordinate. They had a more varied selection than the big-box stores, which I liked. Once I decided on the carpet and style/size of tiles, everything was scheduled and a few weeks later everything was underway. The tile installers were great and did a meticulous job, leveling the floor under the tile and making sure not to damage the in-floor heating wires. They also tiled the shower in the adjacent bathroom, with the tiles running vertically. Love the tile work. Carpet followed the tile and went in nicely. After they left that day, I noticed that the tack strips had a couple of points poking up through the carpet. When I called, the salespeople came right over to take care of it the same day. Would definitely use them again in the future.

Went very well. THE SALES MAN INFORMED US ON TYPE OF CARPET WOULD BE BEST FOR OUR NEEDS (we have two large dogs that shed). NOT ONLY THAT, THE FEMALE SALES GIRL CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO HELP ME PICK OUT PAINT COLOR FOR THE WALLS TO GO WITH MY NEW FURNITURE AND CARPET.

Very professional, wonderful personal service from sales staff (allowed us to take a variety of samples home); to measurement of room; to removal & disposal of carpet. They were happy to work around our schedule and do the job after the holidays.? Excellent job of installation!? Left our home very clean.? We are incredibly pleased with the floor and every aspect of their work!

Great job, very good work and excellent tile and rug products. We are very happy with the work and the materials. Salesman Dave was excellent and let us take home samples for an extended period of time.

A&S carpet installed hard wood flooring in several areas. The results were beautiful. The installers were professional and the price was reasonable. |I would definitely hire them again.

Installed new carpeting and high quality pad for 1100 sf feet. Cost did not include carpet which was provided by a previous retailer that improperly installed it years earlier. A&S guaranteed the installation even though it wasn't their carpet product. They were excellent to work with and solved the problems we had from the previous retailer and installer.

It was very good. They were neat and timely. They did a nice job. I will definitely have them back for more flooring projects I have. They are convenient for me as well. The salesman was great and they let us have samples as long as we wanted. They were not pushy and they were very knowledgeable. The salesman Dave was very good. They did a professional job. They came when they said they were going to come and finished it on time. The flooring in the kitchen is also easy to maintain, and it gives it a premium professional look.

It was very good and we were really pleased. Everything looks great and they did a good job. They were all very helpful when we were looking for floors. They got the carpet installed in one day and the hardwood was installed in 2 days.

The service was good. There were a few spots that had lifted from the tack strips and they said that when they were in the area they would stop back by. It has been 3 months and they still haven't came by. They were easy to deal with and they had a good reputation. People I knew had work done from them, and they were satisfied. They came on time and did what they had to do. They only issue I had is that they never stopped back by.

It was good. They had a lot of attention to detail. They did an excellent job. They got the job done in 2 days. There were no issues with scheduling and they were pretty good.
