They did an amazing job. They were very quick, efficient, and the carpet looks beautiful. I forgot to have the closets measured but they went the extra mile to do that part too. I would definitely use them again.

Everything has been great. I tell people about it all the time, I mean, that's where I get my stuff. Some people also get there stuff there. The lady who worked with me was great.

There was a lady that worked there at the time and she was really good. She was just great. Everything still works great. Everything was on sale. I live real close so it was easy to get it done.

I have had to talk to management about their staff and the service is usually pretty poor. I feel they have a lot of new people, service-wise I give them a zero, but they do have everything I need and have good prices. I also use their online services. I feel the newer staff are not helpful but some of the older employees are somewhat helpful.

Overall, I am very pleased with the service. I went to the store on a Sunday and looked at their "48 hour install" carpet options. The options are very limited, but what would you expect for something that can be installed in a hurry? Once I selected a carpet and pad, the sales person took a deposit for the measurement and placed it in the system. I received a phone call the next day to schedule the measurement. The following day, Tuesday, they came out to measure. The measurement and final pricing was available for me Tuesday night. We scheduled the installers to come out on Thursday (four hour window given). The schedulers came out when expected and performed the work quickly. I was not at the house but my wife was and stated the work was completed in a professional manner. The only "knock" I will give them is that they did not reinstall the transition strips between the carpeted area and the tiled area. Other than that, the carpet looked as expected. Overall, from time in the store to the time the carpet was installed, the process took five days. It is very important for folks to keep this in mind if they are looking for carpet to be installed rapidly. The "48 hour" installation is from the time the measurement results are sent to you. For the price and convenience of rapidly getting carpet installed, I am very pleased. I would certainly use this service again if needed.

They wanted almost $4400 which I thought was way too expensive. The guy who came to measure was very personable and efficient. He was professional and punctual. The employees in the store and people who gave the estimate were polite and professional. Overall the experience was good, it was just the price was out of my range for such a small area.

The Home Depot - Allentown South we had gotten everything from Home Depot. They were just kind of the middle man. They have a design area, the designer that I used was the designer that I used for my main bath, my master bath and my kitchen. And she helped us pick out things. Everything was ordered off site. They didn't carry anything that we wanted. Like the cabinets and the granite they don't carry that in the store, they have suppliers that do that for them. I had a very good experience with you in Home Depot except the granite. I did go back to Home Depot and tell them the experience that I had because we spent quite a bit there at Home Depot and I said for future people you should know this, I wouldn't want them to go through what we went through with them. They are wonderful, my husband wants to take my charge away. Depending upon who you deal with there, because they are supposed to have experienced plumbers and electrical guys, they do have designers there to help you design whatever project you are doing and they are wonderful.

We hired Home Depot to install our carpet because we found a carpet there that we liked, for an excellent price, with inexpensive installation charges. We went in on 8/8/12 to request a measurement/estimate and the measurer guy came on 8/10. They called us on 8/12 with our estimate and were happy to run a second estimate based on a different carpet. We went in for final purchase on 8/13 and decided on a carpet that had a directional pattern. The carpet came in about a week and a half later, but the earliest time that the installer could come was 9/5. Install seemed to go smoothly. Since we were the second install of the day, they didn't come until 2:30 and didn't finish until after I had to leave for an evening appointment (my husband remained home). When I returned, I noticed that our carpet looked fine except that the direction of the pattern was one way on the floor and the other way (90 degrees different) on the steps. I called the Home Depot on Friday at 9 am and was told that the expeditor was on vacation and that her substitute was coming in at 10. I called shortly after 10 and was given an attitude by the person working in the carpet department that the substitute wasn't there yet but assured that he would leave a message. I called again around 1:30 because I still hadn't heard back and talked to the substitute who claimed that she couldn't understand what I was talking about and the only person who could possibly help me was the expeditor who was on vacation. She left a message for the expeditor who called me today (Tuesday). She told me that the carpet has to run up the steps in the orientation it is in to avoid a wear pattern called a and quot;smile.and quot; When I questioned why the floor direction didn't match the stair direction, she told me that the measurer didn't know that the carpet had a directional pattern. She basically told me that there is nothing that can do and that no one is at fault, except possibly us, because we didn't notice on the plans that the patterns wouldn't be in the same direction. Quite frankly, it's not clear from the plans that this issue would occur. Looking at them in retrospect, one can see it but the way the plans are laid out it one would really need to be looking for it to notice it. Now I just need to live with it.

They are very professional and are pretty knowledgeable in certain areas. I shopped around and the price was pretty good. The quality and service was exceptional and I will use them again in the future.

Home Depot cut my windows precisely and were very good about the purchasing and ordering process. However, the contractor I hired to install them did a poor job.

We recently purchased a home that was very much in need of a kitchen makeover. Initially I figured we'd purchase stock cabinets from home depot and do much of the work ourselves. On a friends advice we went to talk to a kitchen designer at home depot - I figured it couldnt hurt but probably was not going to work with our budget... Boy was I in for a surprise! We sat down with Sarah M. And began to pour through ideas and designs. She listened to our thoughts and ideas and helped us come up with a great looking, functional plan! She patiently answered each of our questions and priced out "this option" vs " that option" understanding that we had a fixed budget. She never once made us feel inferior for not being able to spend big bucks on a kitchen - and in fact treated us as though we were spending tens of thousands of dollars. She took the time to double and triple check that we were getting what we needed and truly helped us with each step of the process. She spent several hours total with us, over the course of several days, perfecting our plans - btw, did I menttion that they are not paid on commission?? We are a couple weeks out from the delivery of our (American made) cabinets, but thus far I am more than pleased and would absolutely recommend anyone to check them out for their design services!

The installation went well, the contracted installers were professional and did a good job. The problem occured when it was time to install the picture window in living room. It was the wrong window and wrong size. The installers installed the incorrect window so that I would not have a windowless livingroom and immediately called the project manager. The new window was ordered but after 3 weeks of not hearing from anyone, I called and was told the REPLACEMENT window was on it's way. The replacement window was WRONG as well and that it would be another 2-3 weeks before a the correct window came in. I stated that since they had the wrong order twice in a row, that Home Depot should place a rush on the "correct" order I was told there was nothing they could do to expedite the order. At that time I also got an email from home depot stating my work was complete and how did I rate it. I was furious. The new, correct window came in 3 weeks later. I also noticed there was no kickplate lock on the patio door. The project manager on the project had to order the kickplate lock and came to install on 9/4. Total, the entire install took over 9 weeks to complete.
