Neil, the owner and mechanic, is very knowledgeable about his craft, and charges accordingly. If his business was run in a more professional manner, I would give him much higher grades, and wouldn't be too concerned about the cost. After all, cost of ownership of a Mercedes is always pretty high. However, Neil is desperately in need of an office manager. He is hard to reach at times, and very unresponsive and uncommunicative about needed service. For example, after spending over $1000 on service and repairs, he told me that I would need a few additional repairs after the parts came in. After 3 weeks went by with no word from Neil, I called him back, to find out that some of the parts were in, some were not, and some were not available. He had my mobile number, and had told me he would call with status, but I never heard from him. He is one of those folks who believes that customers should beg him for his work...we've all had experience with this type. If I can find another qualified Mercedes mechanic in the area, I will no longer use Neil. Surely, for the premium rates he charges, he can afford to be a little more responsive and professional.
