Pool and Spa Servicing
I called Piscean because they were the company that serviced the pool for the previous homeowners. I learned this by looking at service records that were provided by the previous owners and by talking to the neighbors. I called several times over a 3 week period to schedule an appointment with Piscean, with no response. Finally, I received a call back and was given an appointment. When they arrived on the appointment date, they removed the cover, drained the pool half way, and cleared the remaining water with chemicals. They told me the liner needed minor repairs, and that the pump was in good working order. They told me to fill the pool back up, and that they would return to repair the liner. They never came back or contacted me. After several phone calls, I finally reached them and they told me they couldnt repair the liner after all.
At this point, it became apparent that work performed by Piscean was a complete waste of time and money. Had they performed an evaluation of the pool as I had asked, they would have found the problems with the liner, and they could have simply drained the pool and replaced the liner. Instead, they chose not to evaluate the condition fully and decided to do a quick clean up of the pool. They used chemicals and water that later needed to be drained, making the work performed and the thousands of gallons of water that were added a total waste.
At this point I gave up trying to deal with Piscean Associates. I hired another pool company who did a full evaluation of the pool and found multiple problems with the pool and pump system that they directly attributed to the poor workmanship provided by previous pool service company (Piscean Associates). The pool then required a complete liner replacement and a complete overhaul of the pump system totalling thousands of dollars.
