They have a 2 tier pricing policy. Feral cats and those brought in cages are one price and get an ear tip. The other price is for house pets. It costs more money for house pets. These policies are designed to prevent regular pets owners, from trying to take advantage of the lower price, for their own pets. The policy is also designed to generate income that would not come in, otherwise! The problem is that they (No Nonsense) make No provision for outside cats that are caught and brought in traps, specifically, that are Not "returning" to their original environment. These animals are commonly referred to as "rescued", (i.e. from their environment)! Those involved with making and enforcing these policies, are more concerned about the money than about the animals themselves! An animal with an ear tip is sentenced to a life outdoors, with no hope of ever being adopted into a suitable home. It is very difficult to adopt cats in this present economy. The chances of adopting a cat into a suitable home, that has an ear tip, are non-existent! I, also, have an issue with Dr. Merlot, the attending veterinarian. She continually places the interests of the organization, as well as her own interests, over those of the Animals that are brought in to her. She has not been very cooperative with me in trying to save these animals from an outdoor life, and is not, at all, concerned, with what I am trying to accomplish! Her goal is to spay and neuter as many animals, as possible, with very little concern as to where the animals are going and where they eventually end up! In fact, If I'm not mistaken, they told me, "their only concern is getting the animals spayed and neutered", and that they are not concerned about where the animals end up! She continues to slander and libel me and my name, and is attempting to vilify me, because I have an objection to the policies! My objections have forced me to utilize the services of a different, but similar organization! I would like the organization, to consider the importance of trying to not only help with spaying an neutering, but to also be more concerned about where the animals eventually end up; and furthermore to be more considerate of those trying to rescue stray and homeless animals! Customer service => F Team attitude => F Abstaining from acts of slander, vilification, and libel => F Appreciation of, and respect for volunteers in the cat community => F Good name, integrity, and credibility => F.
