This contractor did a porch for us two years ago. It turned out great. This year we called him to have him do a patio replacement behind our house. He originally quoted 3000.00 for a 16'x35' rectangular patio. It was to be done in red concrete. He referred an excavator to us who gave us a great price and we did use him and he was great. This is where the project turned for the worse: The project was scheduled 7/09/11-it did not until 7/14/11 --with the yard dug up --He finally showed up and did the labor for the forms.he complained that he miss measured and had to charge us more and did not count the cost of the color...our bill was now raised to 3700.00. The day the concrete came he did not have the money for the concrete so we gave him a check for 1700.00. The check he gave the concrete man was from an account that was closed..... he never came back to put in expansion grooves and the entire concrete patio cracked - the bull nose molding was never tucked in and he never came back to take his forms down or fix anything. splashed red concrete on the house and put a hole in the foundation of the house. will not return any calls and when i went to his home he told us to take him to court we would get nothing. now the concrete company is putting a lein on our home for the concrete. today i filed a suit against him with the district magistrate, filed with consumer protection, filed with the attorney generals office.
