Dr Karen and her staff were always very professional and caring whenever I took my pets in for a visit. When the time came and it was time to let them go, the level of compassion for not just my beloved pets, but me as well, was astounding.

She is wonderful, been going to her for about 30 years. My cat had a yearly checkup ( cost $110.00) She goes out of her way, if you call her she will take care of what you need. She will go above and beyond.

The price is good because I got the 3 year shot of the rabies in December. Their service was well. I like the doctor.

It went quite well. This was the first time we took one of our cats there. The schedule our appointment for the same day. It did take a while to get in to see her but we really appreciated that she squeezed us in!

She is a very good Doctor. She needs help with her staff. She"s very understaffed. You wait a very long time when your there. She has way to many animals cant spend very much time with her patients because of it.

We have been taking our dog Bennie to Dr. Hess for the past two years. We had changed to Dr. Hess after experiencing dissatisfaction with the previous vet practice. Dr. Hess saw Bennie through many anal gland infections which ultimately resulted in surgery in June 2010. Although Dr. Hess did not perform this surgery, she has access to a board certified surgeon who perfomed the surgery. Bennie had a few complications, but the aftercare by Dr. Hess and her staff was excellent and he fully recovered. This past September, Bennie sustained an injury to his spine, we don't exactly know how it happened, but he was initially seen by Dr. Lori Milot, then Dr. Hess and was put on a course of steroids and medication. Initially he responded, but after two weeks he began getting worse almost to the point of paralysis. Dr. Milot was able to call in the same board certified surgeon, Dr. Phil Zeltzman who after ordering an MRI was able to perfom surgery to the cervical area of the spine. Dr. Milot has been wonderful in her follow-up, her compassion for my Husband and I. She really cares about Bennie and I have nothing but praise for Dr. Milot, Dr. Hess and Dr. Kerri (who we spoke to many times on the phone but never met) in the responsiveness and care, and to the reception staff and vet techs who were always sensitive to us.
Bennie is still recovering and has a long road ahead, but I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent pet care practice.

I've been going to her since I was 19 years old so it's been a while. I take all my animals to her, my family goes there as well. She has become like a part of the family because of her relationship with our animals and how much she cares. If something is wrong with my animals I can call the answering service in the middle of the night and she will call me back. I think she is a workaholic.

Dr. Karen Hess was recommended by our Pet Groomer for our 9 year old shiatsu/poodle mix for chronic anal gland problems. We had been seen by another practice previously and switched due to dissatisfaction. Dr. Hess and her staff were compassionate, patient and very knowledgeable. Treatment began immediately and he has been seen every month since November 2009. He ultimately required surgery in June and the care has been great. Dr. Hess and her staff have been very patient with us and they have treated our dog with great care. Dr. Hess recommended that the surgery be performed by a Board Certified Surgeon she works with which we did, but with Dr. Hess and her staff providing all after care and treatment. It was very rough and we were pretty neurotic about things, but Dr. Hess always took the time to listen and answer our questions.
