Garage Trim. I was scheduled quickly to replace a rotten trim over my garage. BEAUTIFUL!!! Removed rotten trim such an eyesore and replaced with just beautiful composite. BEAUTIFUL!!! I am delighted that my home looks beautiful. The front of my home has an eye-catching curb appeal. Trim matched the beautiful roof and flashing previously replaced by Dougherty Roofing! Thank you!!!

I had hail damage to the roof of my home in Catasauqua on June 30th. The entire roof of a slightly larger than 4000 square foot building has to be replaced. I had no less than 15 different storm chasers sending me their cards, but I will only consider a LOCAL roofer. I made a few calls to a few of the bigger local roofers. When I told the person at Dougherty Roofing that I needed an estimate, I was told "I can do an estimate, but I'll have to charge you for it". With so many people fighting to replace my roof, I was taken by surprise by his response. After a few seconds, I said, "That's OK, I'll find someone else." The next thing I hear on the phone was the person on the other end say "That's what I thought", then he immediately hung up on me. From the lack of reviews Dougherty Roofing has on this site compared to other local roofers, I can't imagine they are inundated with work from the hail storm. To just insult and hang up on a potential customer seems a little crazy to me.

He came in did the job in a day, cleaned up after everything. I was working at that time so when I left in the morning I had my old roof and when I returned I had the new roof was finished, everything was finished and cleaned up like they have never been here. Last summer one shingle came loose I called him, he came out the same day fixed it and never send me a bill. That was 20 years, I never got a bill. People don't do that. He is man of his word. I don't remember that I had a written contract with him 21 years ago. I really don't think I did but he stands by his work. He is somebody whom one can trust on a hand shake. I remember many years ago when I had a leak on the roof I called 9 different roofers to find what I needed to do. He was the one guy who came out and informed me that I should not let anyone fool me saying that I need a whole new roof on this house since I don't need one and that the roof I was having was good for 5 to 8 years and it was. I knew then that when it was time for a new roof he was going to be the guy I would hire.

I was satisfied with the work and their cooperation. They came out very promptly to give me the estimate. They called me the following day with an estimate over the phone and they wanted to come right out and start the work. I was surprised that they started working with no written contract and no money down. They did the work and following that I got an invoice in the mail. I did not mind, however I was surprised that they would do the work that way. They were a little casual with the professionalism. They left a ladder at my home for an extra week, however they did take the time to clean up after themselves.
