ASHMOR SYSTEMS
About us
AshMor Systems has been family owned and operated since we opened our doors in 2005. Named after his two daughters Ashlee and Morgan, owner Jim Flamisch and his wife Tina started the business with a very simple goal: Offer the best supplies and service at the best possible prices. That goal is achieved daily in our store as illustrated by the items we sell and the growing list of customers that have made AshMor Systems their supplier of choice. We know that our customers are our greatest asset. We also know that if you treat your customers right, they’ll tell ten people about you, treat them wrong and they’ll tell a hundred. We don’t have a huge store with thousands of items like the big box stores have, but what items we don’t have can be ordered for you. One benefit we do have that they will never be able to offer is personalized service. Every customer we handle, every service we perform, every system we work on, we make sure we do it right the first time. We are a classic example of where bigger is not always better. We offer unparalleled support of the products we sell. Should you have a question about or a problem with an item you bought from us, we are your first and last phone call!

After Jim saw the drop outs, and attempted restarts. He shipped the computer back to the Acer Company. They diagnosed the trouble and identified it to be defective power supply which they replaced and tested the better part of a week before returning to me. I don't drive, so to service this problem Jim made three service calls to my house which he refused to bill me for. The reason it cost me $20.00 is Jim said he paid $42.00 to ship the unit back to Acer, and asked me to split the shipping with him, which I gladly did.
I checked on Acer Computer's before purchasing one and found there to be all positive information on the units. After the experience with Jim Flamich of Ashmore Computer Systems located conveniently at 626 N.19th Street in the west end of Allentown, PA and the Acer Company any future computer purchases will be at Ashmore Systems.
I called Jim on 9/15. We talked a good 15 mins on the phone as I described my laptop issues. Jim offered advice and options for the repair. I took the laptop to his shop the next day. He wrote up the repair work to be done. I picked it back up within a week. It's as good as new
Jim does this for a living. He has a shop in Allentown. A lot of people I contacted just fix computers as a side job. Jim is also very personable. I liked him right off the bat and after talking with him just a few minutes I felt like I could trust him with my computer
Jim is # 1 in my book and very reasonably priced
Although a considerable amount of time was spent above and beyond a diagnostics check, I was only billed for the diagnostics check. Ashmor suggested that I perform a refresh of my computer and see what happens. Upon doing so, the computer did return to its normal operating speed and although I did have to reinstall a number of programs, I was able to do so at my expense rather than being billed by Asmar. Asmar provided very good service and at an outstanding price. I will most certainly use them again for any computer repair services that I might need.
I found Ashmore Systems on your site and was very pleased they were located right here in Allentown, since I was reluctant to try a "remote" online service to try and repair it.
I called them and even though it was almost closing time, Jim told me to bring it down and he'd try and work on it that night or the next morning.
I got a call the next day that it was finished and was happy I didn't spend the $800 for a new one like the one I brought into him.
His fee was very reasonable and if I have any computer issues in the future I'm happy to know where to go for a solution.
He always gives me options to the repair, his prices are always reasonable, he is a nice person to do business with.
