Amy's Girl Friday

It went very good.

Called Amy whose name I found on Angies list, also found she was only a couple blocks from me. She made a appointment for 1 pm the next day. At 1 pm the next day Amy showed up along with Dave, showed them the problems I was having. They started preping the job and then went to get insulation strips. Turns out the doors I have on are not common and they were having trouble finding the correct insulation. Late in the day they came back and adjusted the dusk to dawn light and said they had to do a little more shopping to locate the correct insulation. They returned the next day with the proper insulation and had it installed in about 45 min. Very pleased with everything they did.

It is quite difficult to find someone who takes pride in the service they preform.  Someone who will take the time to do quality work.

That being said, I am so thrilled to find Amy's Girl Friday.  Finally  someone who will provide the service requested with a true professional at reasonable rates. 

Amy's son is a professional carpenter who took the time necessary to get each and every detail correct. He didn't stop until the door was installed perfectly.

They are really great and they do it all. they paint, clean up, and make minor repiars. I would give them the highest rating possible.!!

Took care of the outdoor debris due to the winter season.  Sticks, stones and gravel cleared from our lawn, lightly raked and swept our pavement and porches both back and front.

Came to our home and watched our home health aides in action during the processes of care for both my wife and I,  Wrote and evaluation and plan that might better help us reach our goals.

Installed grab bars both outside and inside the home and gave the home health aides a new process to get us both in and out of the car for transporting to and from the doctors office and alike.

Assisted us with filling out some Veterans Administration paperwork so we could get some help.

Amy came to our home as planned equiped with information to help us.
She installed grab bars where needed and made suggestions for bathroom renovations which would make it easier for our staff, myself and my wife.  She also helped me get the necessary information to apply for a HISA grant from the VA and helped me fill it out and saw it through to the end as we were granted this renovation grant and the construction start to finish.
She implemented a plan for our staff with procedures that benefit both myself, our staff and my wife.
Calls weekly to see if they are still working.

she did not take over she assisted me in what I wanted to do. she was patient enough to wait for me to make some decisions and then when I could not she offered suggestions.



when the decisions were made she got right to it and started working on finishing the task. she knows her way around a house and is not afraid to do stuff that is necessary.



she helped me get my cars to the garage for inspection and that the bills were right before I paid the garage anything. she assisted me in asking questions and getting the answers and then she wrote them down, so I could recall them later.



overall just very helpful. I need that because I am not strong anymore.

Amy responded to my call within hours, and we immediately set up an appointment for her and crew to come out and do the work that weekend. Tim and Tim, Jr. arrived punctually, worked tirelessly, and did an awesome job cleaning up my back and front yards, restoring its and quot;curb appeal.and quot; Amy also came, and asked if I was satisfied, and at the same time asked if there was anything else I needed done. As it turned out, I needed a ceiling fan replaced. Amy and I set up an appointment to take care of that right away! Amy is informative, instructive (she knows alot about plants and landscaping, as well as electrical work!), thorough, and easy to work with. She has my highest praise and recommendations! :)

Amy was terrific. She was on time and very professional.

Amy came into our home and really helped us. She evaluated each situation of our lives and gave suggestions for improvement and then helped us find out how to implement these changes and get the services we needed at the lowest cost and with our insurance policies doing their job.
She trained our homecare staff on how to help my wife be happy and independent without feeling like a child. Or the feelings of being a burden.
She has those that work for her that are just as kind as she is.
A pleasure to work with her and she will be working for us for a long time.

Needed to fill an open home health care position ASAP, contacted Amy (Girl Friday). I cannot put into words how helpful Amy was, my problem was solved within 24 hours:) :) Amy you are AMAZING, Thanks for everything!!!!!!!

Good she is very helpful and informative. Did what I asked and stayed on task until the job was done.
