Altemos Atlantic Energy

I use this company for oil delivery. I signed a contract that capped the dollar amount I would pay for the year. $3.62 being the highest aount I would pay per gallon of oil. If the price is lower, I would pay the lower price. The past 3 deliveries, I have paid the capped price of $3.62 per gallon. I have checked other companies on the day of delivery and the price is up to .35 lower. Then to add insult to injury, they are now charging an insurance fee and a Hazmat fee. (They did waive the fees for me lat month.) Just received my delivery: With fees my price is $3.74 a gallon!! My recommendation... DON'T SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY, and IF you order oil from them, inquire about ADD ON FEES!!! I could just kick myself!!!

Went very well. Arrived promptly at 9AM and worked all day until job was completed. The old system was 27 years old and both the compressor and air handler were wired to same breaker. This was unknown at time of the quote . They corrected this, bringing the new system up to code,by adding new breaker . This resulted in the job taking longer to complete than expected. Brinker 's Fuels did the actual repair work and were very accomodating and respectful of my property. Mr.Brinker himself spent nearly the entire day in the cramped attic area where the air handled was located without a complaint about the August heat. Eric, the Altemos sales person was excellent in explaining all our options and providing us with reminders of the scheduled install date. Also followed up after the install to see if we had any problems or questions. Very professional operation.

I think they are fairly good but just like every business, they are always trying to say something needs to be done but I know it doesn’t have to be. They said that I needed an oil tank yet I know that that oil tank was just put in maybe 10 years ago. They don’t go bad that first. I haven’t had any problems. They've been alright so far.

The on-call service tech showed up within 1/2 hour, talked to me about the problem, and fixed.
I've posted that the cost is N/A because we have a service contract.

Automatic delivery never an issue. Replacement of furnace and oil tank was smooth as well. Fixing of the old furnance took a few attempts as the unit was ancient; however, eventually fixed it.

I just get them to come here, and bring me oil. I don't know when they come, as they come and they go. They are transparent to me. They are very good as they never miss. I have nothing to compare their price with. I have no problem with their quality. They follow it up and I never run out of oil. Their professionalism is real good.

Terrible experience. Unit never performed up to adequately.Seviced for 3 yrs attempting to fix lack of adequate AC. During that time multiple deficiencies were noted, a defect of the original unit led to 2 botched service attempts, on the second one the tech burned up our unit while using a torch. This year the system failed and inspection revealed the repair of that problem was also botched, the system ducts had been undersized and th entire system required re-design. also original bill of sale says 2 1/2 tons nut the heat pump was only 2, and the duct design supports only 1 1/2.

They were very responsive and showed up on time.
