Unbelievable! The worst customer service I've ever seen. I ordered 2 cabinet doors which were supposed to be delivered in 20 business days. I had to threaten to call the police and file a claim with the NC attorney general to get my doors. After 4 months of waiting they arrived with a crooked line in the cabinet, I made multiple attempts to get my money back, but they insisted on making me new doors which I'm sure would have taken another 4 months and might also have defects again. They would not refund even part of my money for these issues. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Terrible company and terrible service.

Without a doubt the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered one single cabinet door which was supposed to be delivered in 20 business days. After 2 1/2 months of waiting they are shipping the cabinet, even though I finished my project two months ago. I made multiple attempts to cancel the order since they couldn't deliver but they refused to cancel the order or refund my money. Terrible company and terrible service.

In the end, it was finished well. They sub-contracted the whole thing. Cabinet World is terrible. I would caution people to hire them. But they sub'd it to another company and they did fine. Cabinet World was the fly in ointment. 

Three days before the project was suppose to start, we signed a contract and gave them a deposit. They called me and said, we're not going to do this job. I had to get the lawyer involved and force them to do what they agreed to do. They just drug their feet all the way through the process. They were just awful to deal with.

Salesperson came to home, was to call with estimate, but never called??

We called Cabinet World for an estimate for kitchen cabinet refacing.  Almost immediately after his arrival the young gentleman began pushing a complete kitchen cabinet replacement.  
He did measurements and said we would be contacted with an estimate for both refacing and replacement.  He also
mentioned that Cabinet World would be attending the Pittsburgh Home show and how busy they would be that week.
It is now over two weeks since his visit and we have not heard a word from him or a representative.

Everything was perfect. They worked with our builder.

Larry Lucci was our sales contact as well as the kitchen designer.  He was up against two other very good firms in bidding for this project, Manor House Kitchens and Kitchen Concepts, both of whom submitted terrific proposals along with the one from Cabinet World.  After we selected Cabinet World Larry helped us to meet all our needs and settle on a design that met our budget and unique requirements for a smaller kitchen area.  We were put into the queue for cabinet delivery and installation.  The cabinets arrived early and so our schedule actually advanced a bit.  The installers Josh and Brandon were very professional and were always efficient and clean in doing their work.  They did their work very promptly and came back to fix a few loose ends when it was time to do the finishing touches.

We lost access to our kitchen sink from the start date until the granite counter top was installed so we were anxious to get done.  That was the only glitch in the process.  Although we ordered a relatively standard piece of granite Ultimate Granite the local supplier used by Cabinet World had no good pieces in stock for us to select.  The sales representative at Ultimate Granite was very sub-par, missing the first appointment and then arriving 45 minutes late at the second.  It took several weeks for Ultimate Granite to re-stock our selected granite and when we made to one hour trip to look ad the newly arrived twelve pieces we were told by the sub-par sales rep that we had to choose the top piece because "they were all alike" and they didn't have time to show us others (which makes me wonder why it is mandatory to go out and select your piece personally). Anyway, that was the low point.

After "selecting" the granite the Ultimate Granite installer, Dwight, did a great job in getting it cut and installed correctly and it makes a beautiful finished kitchen. The cabinets have worked out beautifully and we are very happy with the choice.  We did have a few very small glitches at the end of the installation and each one was addressed promptly and fully both by Cabinet World and Ultimate Granite.  I would definitely recommend Cabinet World to anyone having their kitchen remodeled.

They were wonderful. On time, perfect carpentry, appliances installed. Masters of their art. I would recommend them to anyone.

The cabinets are beautiful.  The installer was very good.  I am still waiting for the counter-tops to be put in.

The sales rep from Cabinet World came to my house and examined the current kicthen design and products. We discussed what I was looking for including more storage and extended counter space. The recommendation was to remove the bulkhead so I could get higher cabinets in which would provide extra storage and extend the countertops at an angle for more counterspace and additional cabinetry. He took measurements and placed the information into a system that showed me a 3D diagram of what the end result would look like. I really liked the design and the next step was to meet at the showroom and pick out the cabinetry, hardware, and countertops. There were plenty of options to choose from, but I did not feel overwhelmed because I had my sales rep and someone from the show room helping me navigate through all of the options. Once all of my selections were made, the cabinetry was ordered and the kitchen was installed within a month after the process began. During installation, the installers were very mindful that my house was being lived in. They covered my furniture and closed off the entrances into the kitchen. They even cleaned up my floors after installation since it was snowing that weekend. Everyone was very helpful and responsive throughout this entire process. The cabinets are Wellborn cabinets, which are amazing! At the time, they had soft close drawers which were great! I rated Cabinet World a "good" for price because they do use such a high quality cabinet manufacturer that the cost will be generally higher than a basic MDF cabinet. You will never find this quality of cabinetry for this price anywhere in Pittsburgh! Overall, the value you get is incredible! The service was exceptional and I have recommended them to all of my friends and family who are in the market for a kitchen! Thanks Cabinet World, I couldn't be happier with the way my project turned out!

We had a very custom job we wanted done and they did an OK job, not great.  They measured the heights of the cabinets wrong and they ended up about 1/8 inch too short.  They took some money off the price of the job to compensate.  The onsite contractor was wonderful, however his workers could use improvement.  Installation was great, but the planning and fabrication was bad.

We chose to go with Cabinet World versus the large home improvement
stores for a more personal experience. Cabinet World exceeded our
expectations.
Jodie our designer spent about 2 hrs at the house
listening to what I wanted, giving suggestions for the space and
measuring. Then we met with her at the store 2 more times, both for
about 1.5-2 hrs each - again she was very helpful in making sure what we
wanted we got in the design as well as wood type, granite counter,
knobs etc. I would HIGHLY recommend using her as a designer.
They scheduled the installation around my per-arranged vacation  at my
request and kept that schedule.  We removed the prior kitchen and placed
a sub-floor before they installed, just to save some money.
The installers, Josh and Brendan, were timely, polite and very professional.
They worked for 2.5 days and checked with me on knob placement, shelf
placement and any other issues. They worked full days and cleaned up
daily. They did an excellent job!
I LOVE my new kitchen and everyone who has seen it says the same.
The quality of the cabinets is excellent and the design, installation and service is superior.
I would recommend Cabinet World to anyone!

We had been looking for someone to design a vanity that I have been envisioning in my mind for years. After a looking around, we finally found Debbie at the Canonsburg Cabinet World.  I described what I wanted and a few days later I had a drawing and a price  We met with her 2 more times to make all the final decisions. This was not a basic vanity and we wanted it to be just right.  Debbie was very patient with us as we worked out the details, and it turned out to be exactly what we wanted.  Once the cabinet was ready, Cabinet World's installers came and installed the cabinet.  It was a 2 day install, as the base cabinet was installed, then the countertop installers had to come, then CW came back and installed the top part of the vanity.  It looks beautiful and they were very precise with the install.

We arrived a few minutes before our scheduled appointment. After an hour and increasingly awkward conversation with the manager, we gave up on waiting for our design consultant to free up from the appointment that was shoe horned in front of ours. Our feeling was if they can't respect our time when they are trying to earn our business, what will happen when they have it? They did call shortly after we walked out to apologize, but they should have taken care of that while we there.

I had an excellent experience with this company.

We started off by speaking to Marty. He seemed nice but didn't seem to be totally knowledgeable. We thought, Ok he's just the salesman. The actual workers will know what to do. (Not so much) We gutted the bathroom ourselves to save on costs. That ended up being the smoothest part of the process. They were slow and we caught them 4 or 5 times blatantly doing things wrong or ignoring what we asked them to do. There was rotted wood in the corner of our tub area and they would have left it if we hadn't pointed it out and demanded that they fix it.  The bathroom is over ground since it is an addtion and they didn't put one bit of insulation under the floor.  My husband came home one day and he could see through a hole that they hadn't done it. They had to rip the floors back up to correct that.  Supposedly they didn't have the correct saw one day and sawed big holes from the floor up to some piping in our drywall (about 2 feet?) instead of making holes the size the pipes could fit through. The holes for our pot lights were ragged and unevenly spaced. We had to call the manager to our house 3 or 4 times to point out they weren't doing a good job and each time he said he would correct it. Finally we just said stop all the work and get out. He never did get his crew to do the job correctly. I would have given them an F but the only thing they did right is that the manager didn't make us pay for the shabby work that was done. After I got completely frustrated and said just start communicating with my lawyer of course. Overall it was a stressful and frustrating process. I will NEVER use them again.

I wasn’t pleased with the company because I felt that my business wasn’t important to them. I had a small project and they really weren’t happy spending time with me because I wasn’t doing a twenty thousand dollar project. I got the impression that my project was small and they didn’t want to spend time on it. I found them very difficult to get on the phone and when I did get someone on the phone; it was the other person who wasn’t in charge of the project. The lady in charge of the project was always busy and she would say that she’s late for an appointment when I ask her anything. I felt that my time didn’t matter and wasn’t important. So I have another similar project and I’ve decided not to go with them because of that problem. I was happy with the installer; the gentleman who came and put it in. I was happy and pleased with his work and everything. They were average. I’m happy with my counter tops. I would probably not use their services again in the future.

Overall Marty seemed competant and curteous in person. It was difficult to get him on the phone and he overpromised and underdelivered many times. I felt as if it were my responsibility to remind him to do work for us and to hold him to his commitments. I'm busy enough with my life, I don't need to be responsible to run his business for him too. Price for the design service was high and I will probably find someone else next time.

It went very well. They men that did the floor in the kitchen also did a floor for me in the laundry room. They also did my baseboards in another area of the house. I was very pleased with the work, the timeliness, and how they cleaned up.

We were just delighted! We had to call them back for warranty work and they were right on the spot with the repairs. They were clean and on time everyday.

WONDERFUL JOB BY ALL! WHEN WE DID HAVE A FEW LITTLE PROBLEMS THEY WERE RIGHT THERE TO FIX. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY TO EVERYONE! I AM THRILLED WITH MY NEW KITCHEN. QUALITY CABINETS AND WORK!

BEING A SELF INSTALLER OUR EXPERIENCE WAS THAT CABINET WORLD GAVE US 100% ON 90% OF THE JOB. THE OTHER 10% OF THE JOB TOOK MANY HOURS AND PHONE CALLS TO BE RESOLVED.

VERY CONSIDERATE WORKERS. FREQUENTLY ASKED FOR INPUT REGARDING CHANGES TO SUIT THE JOB. VERY GOOD WITH KITCHEN DESIGN.
