WOLF & KLINE PROPERTY MGMT INC

My husband is a retired US Navy veteran (navy Corpsman) and we live in a Wolf Kline property in Ephrata, PA. On Tuesday morning at 0630am, the smoke detectors started chirping with low battery warnings. I phoned the after hours answering service and I was told they'd relay the request to WK Prop Mgt @ 0800. We waited & waited a whole 24+ hours until finally a "Lauren" left a voicemail stating we needed to remove/replace all the batteries in all the smoke detectors. My husband had ACDF (anterior cervical disc fusion) on C5-C6-C7 and cannot raise arms overhead. The WK Prop Mgt named Lauren declared an outside company would be contracted to replace smoke detector batteries at an added $$$cost for us, even though this is not delineated in our rental/lease agreement. We pay $1200+ for 2BR/2BA apartment and they won't even restore the smoke detectors to working order!
