We hired Dan to finish some remodeling projects that were started by another company.  He gave us a fair price for the work and did an excellent job.  He was willing to do whatever we asked.  He kept in contact and asked questions to clarify what we wanted done.   We are extremely pleased with the end result.  Dan was punctual.  We were so pleased with the amount of progress we saw everyday when we  returned home.   He gave us suggestions which helped us make decisions that we are very happy with.  There is more work to be done on our home, inside and out and we will definitely be calling Sheridan Construction when we are ready to move ahead with our other projects.

When we bought the house, it needed MAJOR remodeling. Upstairs, there were two bedrooms, a long hallway, and a bath that only had a tub and toilet- NO SINK.  Also, there were no closets.  On the main floor, there was a large living room and double doors that led to the kitchen.  The “kitchen” had only a range, a very old sink and one metal bathroom-style cabinet- nothing else! The basement was only a concrete floor with low ceilings. Our property is now a beautiful 2 BR, 1 ½ BA home with a completed basement, laundry room, and a kitchen to die for!! This was all due to Sheridan Construction. The upstairs hallway was opened up into a beautiful open concept that now includes a full bath with skylight, 2 BR, a sitting room AND a closet! On the main floor, we added a closed-in entrance way that collects coats and shoes, as well as proving extra security and an additional barrier to the weather.  Sheridan added tray ceilings and special lighting to highlight our art; window-box trim to all the walls; an elaborate archway to the kitchen, allowing an open concept; a powder room; and a gorgeous kitchen with granite counter tops and a giant granite peninsula that is a hit at all parties. Our basement is now a comfy escape for the men. (But too nice to be called a Man Cave!) It also provides storage and a well-equipped laundry room.

I have contracted with Sheridan Construction for a number of projects in my home including a kitchen renovation, great room renovation, replacement windows and facelift, painting, exterior patio construction and numerous miscellaneous improvements.
As a project manager for an architectural design firm I oversee and inspect numerous design construction and renovation projects. I have always been completely satisfied with the work performed by Sheridan Construction. They made recommendations to improve ideas, reduce cost or improve the quality of the project for my consideration.
Sheridan Construction performed the work on time and within the prior agreed upon budget.
I would recommend Sheridan Construction for any new or renovation project.

He listens attentively to the homeowner to ensure that he successfully completes a project to your exact specifications. His estimates are fair and accurate. He responds promptly to phone calls and texts. He is polite and professional. Dan is my go to guy for all my home improvement needs.

Everything went smoothly. On time AND within budget. Part of the existing house was gutted to be used as part of the addition. The mess- which I was concerned about- was kept to a bare minimum. Sheridan cleaned up the worksite every day before leaving! The foundation was laid, the frame put up, and everything else was totally taken care of in a timely fashion. When the weather threatened to turn rainy during the roofing, they worked on Saturday to make sure that no water came into the new area.
