Gilbert's Painting

They were very responsive. The company owner did what he said he'd do, when he said he would do it. When rain delayed the actual painting, he came and explained and then returned at the first reasonable date. We were very pleased and would definitely use them again.

He started cleaning the roofs and gutters, and then the scraping, soon after we accepted the estimate, in mid-April. After completing the power washing, they laid large drop cloths which caught the paint scrapings. Then the forecast predicted rain. He explained and we agreed that they would come back to prime and paint when a string of rain-free days was predicted. Not particularly surprisingly to us, that was in June! When he returned, they scraped again (new areas had surfaced and they spent almost another full day at it, working until dark!, which I don't think he had expected to need to do). Then they primed (one day) and returned to spray paint two days later (weather again had intervened). They cleaned up thoroughly. Gilberto returned the next day to look at the completed job and touched up in a few places. We plan to continue to use him as our painter as the need arises.
