Stan the Hot Water Man

I was very pleased with their service. I called them in the morning and they one of their technicians came out in the afternoon. The job was complete in about an hour and a half, and I felt it was a very reasonable price. I will certainly hire them again and recommend them to others. Thank you!!!

Work was done professionally and when follow through requested it was provided without argument. Have been using this company for many years and they have allows been reliable.

Hunter came out and helped us and he was great! He was fast, professional, and I would recommend this company to anyone needing a water heater.

The job went fine. Hunter had given me a quote late last year, and but the timing was not right then. I recontacted him to arrange the work, and he held the price. Work was completed in a couple of hours, and the old tank was removed. I always dread messy jobs in my house, but there was a minimum of disruption and clean-up for me.

My 30 year old Water Heater started to leak. Past time to replace. I called on a Sunday and received a call back from Ken within minutes. Some of my questions were answered and I was assured that a technician would call me on Monday. On Monday at 8:30 am I received a call from Hunter. He was very professional in answering my questions. He had another job to attend to but had a window after that and would be able to help me then. Hunter and Brian a trainee came out before noon and in the process of installing a new Water Heater solved some other issues related to the install. Hunter knew what he was doing and worked efficiently. Before 2:00 PM I was enjoying hot water. Hunter and Brian provided excellent service and I highly recommend them.

Great stuff. The technician's counsel guided us to a traditional water heater, but with a re circulation pump which would circulate hot water during peak use periods to have hot water "ready" at the faucet or shower within seconds, rather than waiting minutes to flush cold water out of lines. A very cool and cost-effective solution, installed by a great guy, for a fair value. I had a follow-up question/concern and he returned to assure I was satisfied. Excellent service and attitude.

Generally the install went quite well. Service technician was without his service van (in shop) so he had a backup vehicle that did not have all material/parts he needed to complete job and had to make two trips out from job site to pickup product & parts. Install took 4 hours because of these trips otherwise install went without any issues. I had new mixing valve installed because of my solar system so price was higher than normal install. Brass couplings (3/4") for $50.00 seemed excessive however all other pricing was within I was told it would be. I would use this company again - service tech was very competent and thorough and cleaned up at completion. Price included hauling away my old gas water heater as well.

Ken gave me a very reasonable bid including installation, which was substantially lower than several plumbers I had contacted. He showed up on time a few days later and had the new water heater installed a few hours later. Ken was professional and did good work.

Tank installed properly by tech but was not strapped to foundation. Called office and owner of company responded right away and came to the house to get it fixed...no questions asked!! Superior customer service!!!!!

Noticed the water heater leaking on the 29th. Called 3 contractors recommended by Angie's list. None of them could do it until the following week. Beaverton Plumbing recommended Stan the Hot Water Man. I called them and the tech call me within the hour and set it up for 2 days out. He replaced the water heater and all water and gas fittings in about an hour. Very prompt and professional.

I noticed that there was a bit of water pooling around the bottom of my 14+ year old hot water heater, so needed to call someone to have a look. I called Stan and Johnny called me back to get more information and to make an appointment. As suspected, it was leaking and needed to be replaced. He was prepared with all of the needed equipment and set to work. It was done in a couple of hours. Johnny was very friendly and helpful- taught me how to light it, and use the controls- much fancier than my old heater! It's worked perfectly and I thought the cost was right on for what I researched. I was extremely happy with the service I received from Stans and would recommend them.

After having called three other plumbing suppliers, Stan the Hot Water Man was the only one that could make a house call within three days. All the other suppliers had a seven to fourteen day lead time. Ken was able to diagnose the problem instantly replaced the heater control valve and also replaced the pilot light assembly for good measure. Now I have a rebuilt heater that should last another ten years of service.

They were very quick to respond & came out within a few days of my initial call.

Called the great folks who put in our heating/cooling system (Sunset Heating) and found out they no longer do water heaters and forwarded me to Stan's. They offered some good advice (that the gas water heater I was planning to switch two is more efficient but less reliable) and I went with a Rheem electric. The installation went smoothly and was obviously well done.

No issues, they were quick and showed me how to do it myself for next time.

It took 2 visits BUT the repairman talked me out of buying a new unit which would have been extremely expensive because a new ventilation system would have been needed.  Instead he took the unit apart, cleaned it and replaced a worn out element. Then made a deduction on the bill because it was his second visit.  He comes with a truck filled with spare parts so you won't have to wait or order them yourself .  Very pleasant, polite and efficient service.

Hot water heater was installed properly, but I was unhappy that it wasn't strapped to the basement wall. The owner actually came back with the tech and they redid the install and got it strapped to the concrete wall. The owner of Stan's actually bent over backwards personally to get it corrected and it was much appreciated. He definitely takes care of his customers and pays close attention to keeping them happy!! Would definitely use again!!!
