It went south as soon as they started the work. Originally we agreed on adding 12" of rock and I was to supply the rock and would be credited for the rock that I supplied. When they got there they said they couldnt put that much rock on and that it would have to be engineered if they did. I finally agreed to lower the site height so we could use less rock. They we to put 4" of 1-1/2" minus and 4" of 3/4" minus. When I got home After they excavated the site the first day I noticed they did everything except for the driveway. I figured they just werent done. The next day when I got home the rock was down and it was only the 1-1/2"minus and no 3/4" minus and they had laid the rock down over the grass where they were to supposed to have excavated the driveway. I called them ans asked what was going on. They said they were done. I said it wasnt even compacted. They said it was god enough because they drove their rubber track skidsteer over it. I also found out it was 6" out of level from one side to the other. I made them come back and add 3/4" minus rock and level the site. Then they wouldnt reimburse me for all the rock We used. Charged me more for a culvert they forgot to bid oin that should have been in the bid to begin with. Lots of other trouble, too much to mention. I ended up firing them and had the work done by someone else.
