No details and receipts for toilets and faucets installed except. Mark just charged me for fixtures he selected. Without consulting he moved the sink out of alignment with the mirror in the bathroom to make room for a new larger toilet he selected with out input but cannot provide recepts or details on make/model/ or price. He has not been able to provide details on faucets and toilets replaced. The bill did not have any details, and when asked he said he doesn't keep receipts. I would like to know what toilets and faucets were purchased and installed. The prices without receipts are just arbitrary amounts I don't know. Overbilled for labor and haul away of waste. Mark snaked two drains on two different occassions and charged for a fixed problem, sewer ended up being and issue and had to be replaced completely anyway. Mark was very unprofessional when questioned, even called me names.

Another company that was to install our dishwasher noticed a leaky faucet. Top Notch arrived on time and reviewed the faucet issue. He determined that all that was needed was tightening and the replacement was not required. Saved time and money. I would hire him again.

It took about an hour. The outside of the hose bib connections to the house were not sealed or connected tight enough to prevent the bib from turning when being used.

I had to leave so I left a signed check with my wife to pay Mark for the work we wanted him to do. My wife called me to tell me the work had been done, but said it was a lot more than she had expected. When she told me it was $149 for the labor and that he was here for 30-35 minutes, I was very surprised and immediately called Mark to find out why it was so much. Mark told me his rate is $149 minimum for any work done for up to an hour's work. When I began to complain he interrupted me to tell me that this is what he charges, and I didn't have to use him again if I didn't like his rate.Then, he hung up on me.

While the work was completed as we wanted I don't feel his rate is fair and I really don't feel he acted at all like a professional.

It did not go well, the plumber insisted on doing the work on his schedule not mine.  His work on the toilet had to be redone by another plumber.

I called him and I am in the same area and he was there in 30 minutes and got my toilet running again on a Saturday. I am so grateful for him for that. A tube broke and water was shooting straight up and the only way to stop it was to turn off the water to the toilet. He was nice and respectful

Sinks, shower etc all aroung the two toilets ran fine, but the toilets would not flush. Had me baffled. Tried all my tricks that worked in the past to no avail. When mark came, he tried the same tricks with better equipment with same result and finally pull the one of the toilets and found standing waste. Went out and checked the septic....full

I called a ton of plumbers after noon on a Friday. Mark responded quickly and came to my house within 30 min. Would def use again!

He scheduled the bid very soon (when desired) and he arrived for the bid (and then service call) very promptly. He was very good at explaining his findings as he went along and proposing fixes, which he then performed quickly and from looks of it, effectively. I had a few friends who were somewhat plumbing savvy fail to find the source of the leak near the dishwasher, he found it and made it very clear that he had found it, and also, then fixed it. Quite pleased.

When I bought a home in PDX about ten years ago, I hired Mark to assist in remodeling two bathrooms. Since then, whenever I need a plumber, he's the one I call. He's always been extremely helpful, reasonable, responsive in emergencies and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. He's very easy to work with and I'd recommend him to anyone.

He is very experienced and personable. He does excellent work.

Mark was punctual and pleasant to work with, and answered all my questions. His work was efficient and professional. His price was definitely right (other estimates ranged from $1,700 to $2,500 for the same work). Highly recommend him and would use him again.

Marc at Top Notch is great. I'm a Realtor and Property Manager and I've had him do several jobs over the past few years and he's always been fairly priced, got the job done quickly, and been very professional. I think he does a terrific job and has always been very honest. I've had him work on my own home, along with several client properties and he's done a great job.

The first, he said I needed a whole new faucet, which I kind of figured. The other needed the stopper fixed, which he did on the spot ,w/o giving an estimate. He put a stopper rod in and called it good. The rod was $9-he was at my home approx. 25 minutes, and charged me $98. A day later my faucet was leaking, and I, myself fixed it-didn't even charge myself.
I WILL NOT use him again-he NEVER gave me an estimate-just said and quot;oh I can fix thisand quot;, (which he really didn't). $98 for that, AND, my dog went into the bathroom to see what he was doing, and came out in a flash yelping.
Anyway, I pity the poor soul who uses him.

I spoke with Mark by phone and told him I heard water running and that the carpet was wet in my son's room. Without more information and before he was able to assess the situation in person, he said it would likely cost $500-700. He came out and fixed the leak in about 2and 1/2 hours and charged $436. I had to run to pick up my son at school so I wrote a check. When I came back he was still there so I asked him the breakdown on the charges and he gave me an invoice showing $36 for materials and $400 for labor. I asked the hourly rate and he said $90. When I asked about the discrepancy he said he was actually giving me a break because the estimate had been higher. He ended up begrudgingly refunding $130 and said he would ''void the warranty.'' He was very nasty about it. As he walked to my house to exchange checks with me, he said to my yard helper, ''I don't want to deal with this *expletive*..!'' I would never use him again and would not recommend him.
