Went very well. Process for getting an estimate was easy and services provided and available were explained. They even arranged for someone to prepare my front-load washer/dryer for the move and set it up on arrival. Crew was on time, very curteous, and very careful not to cause damage to items moved or to the areas from which and to which the items were moved. They went out of their way to make sure items were places as we wanted them, even some items being stored temporarily in the garage. Very happy with the service.

This company should change their name to "Demolition Moving". While packing they broke my antique buffet and did not include all the pieces in the delivery. My antique washstand is missing a glass shelf and the hardware to hold it in place. Both of my glass coffee tables are scratched badly. One of them had a brand new piece of beveled glass that did not have one scratch. Two of my floor lamps are missing pieces and the on/off switch is bent on both of them.
All of my art pieces made it without damage because I closely watched the packing and handling of these.
I would encourage people to use a different company BUT if you do use Prestige, buy as much insurance as they offer - you will need it! (they are very slow in making reparations....)

They showed up on time, moved our beautiful piano carefully wrapping it and loaded it nicely. They also moved some very heavy office files and shelves we had not originally planned on. Everything was carefully wrapped and transported. The piano had to be moved down a slight incline across a lawn to our basement and the two very strong men did it without damaging it . I would use them again for sure!!! They were punctual, very polite, and strong enough to take care of the piano beautifully.

You are always concerned when it is an hourly rate but efficiency kept our move at ressonabje price.
Only one item which is minor. They have a brochure with their information packet when you have selected them that I found alittle un-professional
They indicated all movers work hard and do not object to cookies, snacks or tips.
I felt the cost of move and storage would be efficient amount for co.
When they were ready to leave, they hesitated and waited several minutes I believe for a tip. Very uncomfortable.
Overall I still would recommend them to anyone who are looking for moving co.

The helpers were great...polite and accommodating. The driver was nice enough but with some cockiness as if he knew it all. I had used this company for a small move within the Wilsonville area in 2010 and that first time the movers had wrapped my antique furniture and bedroom furniture in blankets and the only damage sustained was a small dent to a microwave which was taken care of in a reasonable time frame.
This move was quite different in that it was a longer distance and they were moving everything! Plus this was a military move.
I won't bore you with too much detail however, when they arrived at our new home, there were some issues. While off loading, a large thermos that was in its original box was damaged ( the glass interior had shattered) and when I pointed it out to the driver it was kind of an "oh well" attitude. While I was standing outside of the truck as they off loaded, a heavy metal object fell against my solid wood dresser that had only been wrapped in plastic, no blankets. The driver caught the falling item, but only after it had deeply gouged the dresser.
I have an antique buffet that I had told him when we were at the home we were moving from was fragile, so I assumed he would wrap it in blankets. Nope.....just plastic. When this buffet was placed in the living room and I noticed numerous new markings on it, he suggested they might of already been there however one could see they were fresh.
It is now November and we are finally able to unpack some boxes in our new home since we had to wait for some work to get done. Again, I am finding damaged goods! I have a large antique half moon mirror that I purchased in 1980 that has moved eight times and has NEVER been even slightly damaged. I just unwrapped it today so I could hang it over the fireplace in time for the holidays but unfortunately it has shattered! It was wrapped well but I'm so upset! Finding it shattered reminded me of what a crappy job the driver did of making sure he and his helpers secured my antiques and wood furniture with blankets instead of just plastic wrap, as well as the poor job of securing the items in the truck for the drive.
We still have many boxes to unpack and I am sure we will find more damage.
We had only 2 1/2 months to report damages and we knew we wouldn't be able to have everything unpacked because of work being done in the new house and having to keep everything boxed, hence the delay in writing this review.
I think what bothered me the most was the attitude when I pointed out the breakage, the dents on my dresser and antiques. I was made to feel like I was lying or that it was no big deal.

The first issue was that the people who Prestige contracted to pack our house ruined a $20,000 irreplaceable antique French armoire by packing it full of boxes filled with pots and pans and forcing the door shut. Then with the billing, I got confirmation that my check to them cleared 3 weeks before they sent me a nasty letter claiming I hadn't paid, even though I sent a copy of the invoice with the check. It just added insult to injury.

In a previous favorably review, I wrote how Prestige had moved all the household goods (including a piano) from my 2,700 sq. ft. house to their storage facility in Wilsonville, awaiting my pending move to Oklahoma. This review is about the move which took place this past March. Once again Greg Riedl expertly handled all the details for the final move, and was very nice to work with. The day my things were moved from Prestige's storage facility and loaded into the trailer I got to meet the driver, Justin Craven, who showed me how all my things had been very efficiently packed. I was impressed that he was in complete control of every aspect of my move, and he was in contact with me during the whole cross-country trip. Just like all the others at Prestige, he was a hard working true professional who took great care with my things, and a really nice guy. The two local guys in Oklahoma, that assisted Justin in unloading and setting up my furniture were impressed as well and said they hoped to work with him again in the future. There were a few minor scratches to some furniture pieces, and one item broken but still usable. But after having everything moved from my home to storage, then again from storage to my new home, I would say that's very good. This was a very successful move for me, thanks to the nice, hard working people at Prestige Moving & Storage in Wilsonville, OR.

Prestige Moving & Storage did some packing for me, mostly mirrors and art work and garage items, then loaded everything (including a piano) from my 2,700 sq. ft. home, plus 3 car garage, outside storage unit and garden furniture. Everything was moved to Prestige's storage facility in Wilsonville, awaiting my pending move to Oklahoma. Four very hard working guys from Prestige, Binito, Miguel, Manual, and Chris, did all the work. I was extremely impressed with their politeness, friendliness, helpfulness, efficiency, and the care they took with my things. This was in total contrast to other moves I had in the past. Before the move, I read all the good reviews for Prestige on Angie's List. Then after meeting with the rep from Prestige, Greg Riedl, I was so impressed that I didn't even get any other estimates. I know from experience that with moving, as with anything, you get what you pay for. It was the right decision to choose Prestige Moving & Storage, and I would use them again, and recommend their services to anyone looking to move or with storage needs.

I obtained quotes from 4 moving companies and chose Prestige even though they were one of the more expensive ones. I felt comfortable with their estimator, Greg Riedl, and their plan for holding my belongings over the 2 nights. I also felt like the company with the lowest estimate was underestimating the time and I was concerned about whether they would be careful with my belongings or if I would later be charged a lot more than the estimate. I was surprised that they wouldn't unhook, rehook the washer and dryer for liability reasons. I had my handyman do so, which was a bit inconvenient. Greg kindly offered to loan me some used wardrobe boxes. I was to return them, but his crew didn't take them.
On Saturday, Casey, Zach, and Ronnie showed up to load things up. They seemed very careful with my belongings and carefully wrapped everything. They were pleasant to work with. My main complaint (and why I couldn't give an A grade) is that they sent too small of a truck. This caused the loading to take much longer as they tried to fit in pieces where they could. It also caused me to have to arrange to move some things myself. This was, in no way, the crews fault. The entire loading was about 8 hours and it was frustrating to watch them stand around and figure out where to put this item and where to squeeze in this item. I was told that if they had a larger truck they would have been done in 6 hours. They did make sure to take the heaviest pieces including the piano. They carefully wrapped the piano and secured it to the wall of the truck.
On Monday, the same crew returned to unload my possessions. I had labled each box and put corresponding signs up on each of the less obvious rooms. I told them that any unlabled boxes can be left in the garage. For the most part, boxes were put in the correct rooms, but things like one of the wardrobes was left in the garage. They did say to let them know if any boxes were in the wrong room, and I did point out several, but I could have been more thorough. They put the pieces of furniture where I wanted and reassembled the beds. The unload took about 4 hours.

The driver that I had from prestige was so far above and beyond, an “A+” wouldn’t even begin to cover it. The driver, Troy, kept in contact with me throughout the entire move. I always knew where he was. He even helped the workers load the van. He was kind, courteous, and respectful. He listened to all of my concerns. The sales rep answered everything that I needed to know, but Troy gladly went above and beyond to answer everything fully.

Overall this experience was a very good one. Moving can be a scary thing, but this move was handled very well by these 3 guys. They really know their stuff. Nothing was damaged at all. They took great care with everything, especially with the heavier items. They seemed quite experienced and knowledgeable. I had emptied out the contents of the bedroom desk and chest of drawers, and they wrapped (snug-wrapped) each piece of furniture with plastic (a very strong plastic). Absolutely nothing was damaged in the slightest!!!
I already told our story in the previous paragraph. But, overall this company is an excellent one to use for local moving. In our estimation they deserve an A+. (Forgot something: Mr. Larsen sent us a thank-you note after the move (in the mail), thanking us for allowing his company to move us.) How many companies do that nowadays?!! We were very, very impressed with this company.

I was a little nervous at first with the packers as I had to watch them tear through our stuff but on the other end it all came through with no damage. Their price was fair and comparative with other companies in the area. The advantage that they had over the others was their affiliation with Allied van lines as it allowed them to do my move smoothly and quickly. I highly recommend this company to those seeking a highly professional and hassle-free experience.

The Prestige packers were first rate--showed up on time for both days of packing and were extremely careful with everything. We have lots of high value art work and lots of books and everything made it through just fine. We did lose 2 cheap floor lamps but none of our really good stuff was harmed. Prestige was not the cheapest of the 3 estimates I got, but they came highly recommended by a friend who had used them 2 years ago. My company also uses them for relocating employees so there was another factor that recommended them.

We called three movers for estimates and for a description of their services along with referrals. Greg Reidl was our rep and he and the company came through with a plan that was exactly what we were looking for in terms of care and attention to detail for this coast to coast move. Although their price was not the lowest of the three, we chose them based on his plan of action and on the glowing recommendations of former clients, which we personally checked out. Greg was very professional and clear in his communication and organization. The packers were very thorough and careful, as well as friendly and not stressed. They were careful to bring to our attention any special packing that was happening for special items. The loaders and the driver were also very efficient. Moving can be a difficult process, but these folks made it all go as seamlessly as possible, given all that could potentially go wrong. It was my understanding that our driver had a bit more of a challenge locating a reliable work crew here in Georgia, than he did in the western states. But he did find a crew and managed them quite well in the end. Everything arrived safe and sound and only one small piece of furniture needed a repair. We can't say enough good things about the experience.

On both the removal and return of our items, Prestige's movers handled all of our possessions with care. They properly padded, wrapped and secured all items, stored them in a separate pod in their large warehouse, then returned and moved it all in again after our remodel was complete.

Prestige was great. They responded quickly to my information request. The Relocation Specialist came to my house and gave me an estimate on the move. The day of the move the movers arrived on time and worked quickly but carefully. They completed the move in half the estimated time and it cost me half the estimated amount. Everything was put in my house where I asked and nothing was damaged.
