I called the company on Tuesday morning and scheduled the repair for the following day. They gave me a 2 hour window when they would arrive. On Wednesday morning the repair man, Matt, called to confirm that he would be coming and what time he should arrive. Sure enough that was the time he did arrive. Besides replacing the spring he also tightened up the rollers, oiled them and made sure the springs were set to the right tension by showing me how the door would stay put in certain positions. I asked him what I could do to maintain things and he gave me a couple of simple things to do. He was polite and knowledgeable. I have their number posted in my garage.

They were honest. I had gotten another quote that stated I needed a replacement. The cost for that was very high. This company fixed what was wrong and saved me thousands.

We called Crawford Door because they originally installed the two garage doors on our house when it was built in 2002. The doors have worked well but had lately become a little balky at opening and closing in cold weather. We had not had any service performed on them since they were installed in 2002 so we felt it was time for an adjustment. We called them on 12/10 and they were able to schedule an appointment for 12/14 between 10 AM and Noon. On 12/14 Bill called at about 10:30 AM to make sure someone was home and let us know that he was on his way and would be arriving at around 11 AM. He arrived promptly at 11 AM and worked for about 30 minutes lubing and adjusting the doors and the photo eye sensors. Bill was very personable and explained what he was doing as he completed the work. He also mentioned their 90 day labor warranty should we have any additional problems. The doors now appear to be working better and much more smoothly than before. We are very satisfied with Bill's work and Crawford Door. We will use them again should there be any additional issues with our garage doors.

A couple of months later the opener was having some problem so I called them. They came right out and fixed it. Everything was fine about them. I had no problems with them. I would hire them again. They are located close by to my place. They did not charge anything extra to come out here. They responded quickly for my request. They called to say what time they would come out and they called again when they were almost here.

They were perfect, on time, and everything was just great.

I called Crawford at 8:30 last night when I found my garage door was broken. Reed came, being thirty miles away and he only charged me $110 to fix it! I had called three other companies and they all gave me a quote of around $400 to do the work that late at night. Crawford could not have been more polite or professional. I'm going to have a new door put in and no one but Reed at Crawford will do it.

I purchased the new door and opener through Home Depot. Crawford called to come and look at my garage and confirm measurements, then another 2 weeks went by before the door came to them. They called for an appointment and were there within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. Very courteous young man did the install by himself, took my old door away and cleaned everything up quite nicely. I would hire them again!!

One guy showed up to do the work- he was a little late but had gotten wrong instructions about the job. He was through in about three hours, and except for a few screws in the driveway, cleaned up the mess.

I was surprised to see only one man show up to install the garage doors. He removed the old doors, installed the new doors, then installed two garage door openers. After completion, he went over the instructions with me several times (at my request) to make sure I understood everything. He was very polite and understanding. The price may seem high but I ordered top of the line doors and openers. My wife and I are very pleased with the work that was performed.

PREVIOUS DOOR OPENER BROKEN AND UNUSABLE. CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY TO REPLACE. QUICK, THOROUGH, HELPFUL. ALSO CLEANED HINGES AND GREASED THE CHAIN.

WE HAD A GREAT DEAL OF DIFFICULTY WITH THIS COMPANY. WE BOUGHT A GARAGE DOOR THROUGH HOME DEPOT, AND CRAWFORD DID THE INSTALLATION OF THE DOOR. THEY DIDN'T COME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THE PROCESS FOR GETTING THE DOOR WAS VERY SLOW, THE CLERICAL PERSONNEL SCHEDULING THE DOOR INSTALL WERE EXCESSIVELY RUDE, AND NOT HELPFUL WHAT SO EVER (I WOULD BE EMBARRASSED IF I HAD THEM REPRESENTING ME TO THE PUBLIC). OUR DOOR WAS SCRATCHED UP AS IT WAS INSTALLED, AND WE HAD TO CONTACT HOME DEPOT TO HAVE SOMEONE COME OUT. WE TOTALLY GOT THE RUN AROUND FROM CRAWFORD DOOR. FROM THE TIME WE ORDERED THE DOOR, TO THE TIME THE FINAL "CORRECTED" PANELS WERE PUT IN WAS WELL OVER 2 MONTHS (THAT IS NOT INCLUDING THE TIME ALLOWED FOR ORDERING THE DOOR). ONE OF THE "MANAGERS" FROM CRAWFORD HAD THE NERVE TO SAY THAT HE CALLED MY HUSBAND AT WORK, WHICH HE NEVER DID BECAUSE MY HUSBAND HAS A VOICEMAIL BOX. ALL IN ALL, IT MADE ME VERY LEARY OF USING HOME DEPOT ON INSTALLATION PROJECTS.

THE SERVICE PROVIDED WAS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. IT INCLUDED THE MATCHING OF THE NEW GARAGE DOOR EXTERIOR TO THE HOUSE EXTERIOR AND ALSO MAKING SURE THAT THE GARAGE DOOR AND OPENER WORKED PROPERLY.
