We hired them as our contractor. They hired a subcontractor to install the home. The foundation looked okay at first. We started noticing large cracks down our hall inside the house. We filled them and left them alone. In April when we came back to the home, we noticed more. On the East side of the home there are completely broken blocks. There are cracks alone the entire perimeter of the foundation.. I contacted the company and heard nothing back. I waited three weeks and decided to contact the Oregon State Board of Construction. I sent a registered letter of complaint and got a phone call from the owner of the company. He stated that he wanted to do the right thing, but can't make any promises. I asked him to come out and at least take a look at it. He still has not come out. We gave them nearly $12,000 just for the foundation to be built and for it to be cracking in just 2 years is unacceptable.   This was our first home. It was supposed to be our dream. A word to the wise, make sure that you are able to be on site when construction is taking place. We wish that we had been.
