I really can't say enough good things about John. My experience is post-recession it's pretty hard to find a good GC in Portland. We had several come over and do the song and dance routine. Most of them were slow to respond and would charge an obtuse "project management fee". Then came John who was shrewd, experienced, prompt, and honest. He worked with my wife to create her dream bathroom and he did not disappoint. John would be my first call if I were to remodel anything else in my house.

They did a good job with some minor corrections needed.  Came back in a reasonable length of time and finished as we requested.

John Sramek was the epitome of a great contractor.  He was on the job with his people most of the time making sure everything was going well.  When we asked for certain changes or additions he would kick it around with us, suggesting alternatives if he didn't agree with our idea.  He always explained why it might not be a good idea or he comes up with a better one.  My wife was so happy with their work that several times she went out and bought a load of cookies, muffins or bagels and served them with coffee, which they always appreciated.  John is very easy to work with and he makes sure any other contractors he brings in do a professional job.  He made many practical suggestions along the way.

First of all, the concrete patio had to be 'over poured' and leveled as a base for the tile floor.  We also had John put  8 Velux skylights into the existing roof.  Installing the Lindal kit looked very complicated but John and his guys did a great job in putting it together.  The SunRoom is our favorite room now.  We have had many compliments on the SunRoom and the high quality of the Lindal kit and workmanship of the installation.

You will find John very easy to work with and a very knowledgeable remodeler.

He is fantastic. He has actually become a close friend out of these experiences. He took the time to listen to what I wanted done, he was thorough in his work and he actually came in under budget. I would highly recommend him.
