Dream Weaver Painting

John and his employees are absolutely top notch. We received 3 bids, all from highly rated Angies List companies and Dream Weaver was the most comprehensive, used the highest quality materials by default, and to my surprise was the most reasonably priced. Upon hiring John he was very patient and helpful in giving us the information we needed to choose our colors. We had never had a house painted before and were apprehensive about getting it wrong. Upon finishing the project I did not like the look of the color I had chosen and I thought I was really out of luck and had wasted a lot of money. John on his day off came over to the house and spent an hour with my wife and I advising us how we could improve the look by making a color change to the trim and a few other accents on the house. Since my budget was already strapped he did the change order at his cost only. It saved us a lot of money and we loved the final product. Very rare these days to find somebody who takes so much pride in their work. Both he and his crew are polite, knowledgeable, conscientious, and timely. He was more than generous with his time and pricing and I would highly recommend him to my own family, friends, or clients.

John always does a professional job that is fairly priced. Adolfo and Joaquin are pleasant and professional. They do a very nice job of cleaning up after their work. I would and have recommended Dream Weaver painting to my neighbors and friends.

I contacted John as a result of finding him on Angie's List.  He came out and provided me an estimate promptly after I contacted him. Bottom line, he worked with my time line and budget to provide me premium service and a quality paint job. My home is beautiful.  I am delighted!

John was great. Initially he said he was booked out for a while, but then he was able to fit us in since we were local. John and his entire crew were very punctual, friendly, and did everything they could to make sure that the job was done completely and professionally. Highly recommended.

It took some patience to get an estimate back from John and a date scheduled to do the work but once they arrived he and his crew were punctual and did a good job. We had some issues with paint matching and installing hardware incorrectly but they did the right thing - he corrected all the issues and did it promptly. John and his crew seem to be honest and hard working people. They show up on time and finish the job in a timely manner. I would recommend Dream Weaver Painting.

They started around Thanksgiving and it took quite a while to get it done but we were very weather dependent and I knew that because it was late and it was the end of the season. They just finished at the start of the year. I like everything. The only thing I had was that every once in a while they would show up before the announcement. I kind of understand that because of the way we were so weather dependent. They were very good about my kind of paint and they just work around the weather. I'll use them again in the future. In fact, the next time I need work on my deck which will be in just a few years, I'll probably have them back.

The price was really reasonable. I was pleased with their services. They were able to do it on pretty short notice. September is a pretty busy season in Portland; it's not dry very often. So they were quick about getting there, and they were pretty thorough. I wasn’t present when they did it. So just talking to the neighbor who saw it all and looking at the work, they did a good job. I had one thing I called them back for, and they came back and did it.

John provided a bid right away. His bid was in the middle of several other bids. He was professional and courteous. We liked that he is a true family local company (not a big corporation) and really take prides in his profession. He and his crew started work on time, were very thorough with the pressure washing which took a full day, then a few days for "dry time" (this is a very important step). 
(Our neighbors had their house painted around the same time by another company and they rushed through pressure washing, prep and started painting the SAME day...needless to say, the quality is very poor next-door and they had to fix many areas.)
John and his crew returned after the house had time to dry for prep work-caulking and taping up and painting. They painted the house in 1.5 days (again, VERY thorough) and it looks amazing. The clean up was also very good, hardly knew they were there. His crew was also very friendly, worked hard and efficiently. I think they hardly took a break!  
We had a few touch up areas (because of our own project of deck replacement) and the paint left didn't quite match (no fault of John's, but the paint store) and John came right out, had the paint fixed to match perfectly, fixed my attempt at touch-up and also supplied us with an additional gallon (I presume for the large project we are currently working on), above and beyond!

I called John, from Dreamweaver Painting, and he came out promptly and gave us an estimate. We thought his estimate was reasonably priced so we contracted with him to do touch up work on the exterior of our home, including our front door. We were so pleased with his work we had him come back and stain our deck and fence/gate. He was on-time, reliable and did excellent work. Very pleasant to work with. Will definitely have him again!!

Last fall I had a new cedar fence built. It is clear cedar picture frame with a catalina lattice top. It was an expensive fence to have built and it matches 4 recently built catalina lattice privacy screens.The privacy screens were stained soon after being built and I wanted to match the fence with the same natural color. I selected John of Dream Weaver Painting based on reviews and his 28 years of experience. When John came out to look at the project I provided the specific brand and color information which he copied down after looking at the can. I find no fault with the quality of John's workmanship. The quality of his preparation, labor and cleanup is very good. Unfortunately the paint company provided the wrong color stain which was not discovered until after it had been applied. John has been very willing to do whatever it takes to correct the situation and it has been resolved to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to hire him for future projects.

I have used him on 2 projects. He did a great job. He redid the cedar siding on my house, as well as refinishing my deck. I thought they were timely and very professional. John, the proprietor, is excellent. He is very straight forward and easy to get a hold of. He did what he said he would do. No funny business with the estimates or anything. It was an easy transaction and they do good work.

You can't do better than to hire this firm both in terms of quality and the price. The three man crew John uses for most of the work is exceptional in their professionalism, skill, punctuality, courtesy and responsiveness to requests. They work hard and consequently the job was done very expeditiously. John did an outstanding job on the door and door frames. They are committed to 100% customer satisfaction and John guarantees the work.

Excellent job. John (owner) and Alfredo worked well as a team and completed the project on time and cleaned up well after the job. They managed the Oregon weather to paint when appropriate. John was always present to oversee the job. He matched the color we wanted with Miller Paint Co.

John was punctual and professional from bid to completion of the work. He made paint recommendations which were excellent and appreciated, and saved money. The work was flawless. He did the work while I was at work and I came home to a beautiful room!

We couldn't be happier! The colors and the quality of the work were great. John wasn't done until we were totally satisfied...even when we changed our mind about a color! We were anxious to get back into our house and John made sure they never delayed all the work that needed to be done. He was sensitive to our needs, touched up after the movers bumped a few walls, and painted not only the walls but the mantel which turned out great. We would recommend John and his crew to anyone!

The work took two days to complete. While John was here, I was painting other areas in my home. I found him quite helpful in giving me tips to make my amateur painting look better and/or go easier. For example, did you know there is a special roller to paint behind toilets? He also helped out a lot by touching up one very high area in my bedroom that I had tried to paint but had missed some spots. John is a very nice family man and easy to be around so I was quite comfortable having him in my home for the two days. The only problem we had was my cat, Clementine, who constantly tried to get in his way and help him paint.

From start to finish, the job was completed in three days. Fortunately, the weather cooperated and gave us cold but very sunny days to do the work. John and his crew arrived promptly every morning at 8:00 and began work (even though the temperature at that time was below freezing). They cleaned up every afternoon before they left. Also, they carefully moved and/or covered things that were not to be painted. I was most appreciative that they moved all the swings and rockers off my front porch and then put them back again when the work was completed.
