Costco Carpet Sales

It went very well -- because of the amount of moving of furniture, books, etc.  They did the installation over 3 days.  This made it possible for me to deal with the whole process.  The installers were very efficient, mesured and then brought the carpets here, cleaned up afterwards and left me to click-lock wrenches (by mistake but never came to get them, though I called twice).

We agreed to the price and they asked for payment up front. However, this was our preference, as we did not wish to finance it, so we put it on our AMEX costco card. We did not discuss financing options. They said they would not run the charge until the carpet was delivered , however they did charge it almost immediately. They also said the carpet would not be delivered from the factory for 4 weeks or so, and it was ready for delivery within 2 weeks, as it came from California and not Georgia. So the schedule for the install was moved up unexpectedly. The estimator had laid out where she thought the seams should go (due to lighting etc) but Angel and his crew changed that somewhat. I must say that he knew what he was doing, and after 15 years installing he was correct. I absolutely cannot tell where the seams are. The installers were very professional and they did zero damage to any woodwork, or the wood floors. They always were very careful to protect any surrounding surfaces. Because we spaced it out over such a large period they needed to leave the carpet roll in the garage, so that may factor in your decision. Although, I did not get charged for it they helped me move several large items in the great room. Overall, we think that they did a great job, however the price was higher than I anticipated. And they did run the charge before they said they would, so I marked them down for those two parts. However, we knew beforehand that they would not be low, and the reason for picking them is that we knew we would get very good carpet at a fair price.

Costco Carpet Sales did a great job. I?ve used them before, but not for carpeting. They came out and brought samples. They brought it quickly because I was in a hurry for a wedding at my house.
